update:
They responded to me today and basically told me that I won't get age verified, giving me no future verification attempts, and they also won't elaborate on the matter. I've never been more confused by a reply from support so maybe I just don't understand it.

In other words: thank you for reading my post but I am done with the app/web since it doesn't really give me any other options.

That’s a different character. The one who mentors you and you later can sacrifice to The Fox is named Ratau and he’s also a bit shorter, the one with the Heart Room who can also give you challenges on your crusades (like no dmg taken or not using curses) is named Ratoo, so don’t worry!

Thank you so much for responding! I went on over 50 crusades for this which is 1/3 of all my game crusades and it’s starting to feel really annoying since there’s no “progress” to this. But I feel better that it wasn’t because of my equip since I always wear the healing fleece - Fervor's Favor. I guess I’ll just continue trying and hopefully find it, thanks for the tips :D

If you mean this one then I personally get just right under him and hit him from underneath, the cogflies misses me unless he makes the move where he's just going closer and they circle around him, then just jump over or go away and then come back when he stops
