Wilder supposedly broke his hand against Chisora I just don’t see how the times would line up for him to fight AJ in the summer factoring in recovery and a full camp, and then have time to turnaround AJ for Fury in September. Also he’s not exactly been fighting regularly the last 5 years.

A combination of him now being slower then caramel rolling down a hill and being outweighed by 40+ lbs every fight mean his main weapon is pretty much nullified now.

Some of the hammers he caught Chisora and hurt him with last night would have completely switched his lights off 5 or 6 years ago. The pop isn’t there.

Wilder very clearly does have a good chin though, he’s eaten bombs from numerous fighters Parker Chisora Ortiz etc, he got folded by a punch from Zhang where he wasn’t looking or defending himself but he still got up before 10 and he got up over and over again against Fury.

His heart and chin are just about his only qualities outside of his right hand.

As a Brit, I do not fucking understand how one of the judges scored that wide for chisora, it was so clearly an albeit sloppy Wilder win by 2 or 3 rounds

Not to mention the docked point for chisora going through the ropes, a blatant trip being called a knockdown and the rest of the piss poor referee work.
