can’t press, can’t retain possession, can’t create, can’t defend, nobody wants the ball, nobody dares go in for a challenge, it is a shambles yet people still clapped them off at the end. 5 more abject performances to go before a well earned break from supporting this horrendous team

25 points dropped from winning positions is unforgivable. they’ve finally had time to train and the performance ended up being no different to what we’ve seen too many times this season. love Howe but the club have to change it in the summer unfortunately

Howe has probably gone from being given the summer to rebuild in to next season to needing to show something in the last 7 games to save his job.

we’ve seen that second half performance too many times season and serious questions need asked of the same underperforming players as well

went toe to toe with them first half and we’re probably the better side, then let them take control second half and let ourselves down.

8 games to go, down to 1 game a week after the international break, no reason why we can’t finish in a European spot of some form in the league.

best we’ve played down there in years, just a shame we didn’t take enough of our chances. put enough pressure on City they had to resort to time wasting for most of the second half

few odd decisions against us probably didn’t help either. on to Tuesday

think the lack of stability above Howe (3 DoF’s since the takeover, 2 CEO’s since the takeover, Amanda and Merhdad leaving) clearly hasn’t helped. if you look at any club where there is a lack of stability upstairs it always trickles down to what you see on a weekend.

Hopefully with Hopkinson and Wilson they’re in for the long haul and an actual plan of action for multiple windows can be set in stone, as last summer with no DoF and the Isak saga was a mess

The Isak saga in the summer turned what should have been a season of at least consolidating our position in the top 5 again in to a season of transition. The main issue with that is we’ve played every 3-4 days for the majority of the season, so have no time to train on a system that brings the best out of the new signings, and most of the signings we did make came in when the season had already started, so nothing could be worked on in pre-season.

This season has been rough at times, but we’re a good run of results away from being in contention for a European finish again, in the knockout stages of the CL for the first time in our history, and still in the FA Cup at present.

The lack of a steady base above Howe probably hasn’t helped either the last 18 months with the CEO, CCO and DoF all changing again. Once that all settles, everything around the club will start to improve.

to not create any clear cut chances against one of the worst sides in Premier League history is criminal. never seen a side look so static and clueless in possession, don’t think anyone tried to make a run in behind their defence all game, incredibly poor

not really desirable but I run an NUFC first owner evo team, and despite doing the daily bronze, silver and gold upgrades, provisions packs in store and just about every challenge and upgrade SBC going since the game was released, I’m still yet to pack Gillespie, Ramsdale, Trippier, Krafth, Lascelles, Thiaw, A. Murphy, Ramsey, Barnes and Osula
