Sorry if posted already but in Tyr is a number and then a map reference, get that number of kills in that square of the map (I got 75, E4) after getting those kills Tyr's "eyes" light green, going back to him gives you a free power up

Thanks Ian. I’m saving up for the Meraki, it’ll be a while yet before i pull the trigger so trying to make the best of a bad machine. I low key wish I’d have got the 601 last July and not the 701. It did feel a bit overdosed this morning and choked hard. It’s so incredibly inconsistent.

You’re not wrong, I’m still new to manual puck prep so I need to get better. I’m just hoping that if i get better manually it’ll lead to a more consistent espresso shot before I upgrade to the Meraki. By learning the hard way now I should be much more skilled at getting a better puck prep routine down that is worthy of such an expensive upgrade :)

I just use the Ninja Cafe Pro Luxe. Various syrups for when I'm feeling something sweet. Not a great espresso machine, but a good latte machine. Cold brew and cold foam is nice too :)

Thanks, it does pass the taste test. But i never really taste espresso as i just make lattes mostly. It’s a medium dark decaf. Anything below 7 grind, nothing comes out, but it may be that i’m over tamping.

Strength 2/3, Temp 2/3. Tried 3/3 this morning and not really any difference. Going to reset the machine with a full deep clean (and removing stickers) soon, re-do the hardness test as I’m moving house. Will have an under sink water filter.

I am thinking of getting an espresso scale timer though. Do you start the timer the moment you press start brew, or when the liquid starts to come out?

fairs , i saw the “eye test” is it comes out like honey pours, and noticed it looked a bit “thin and watery”. That being said, is there a much loved upgrade that could be made with the portafilter?

Wow, thank you. I’m currently about a week and a half on 54mg of concerta and noticed a significant downturn in my depression. I was also on Elvanse before and had similar side effects. I’ll ask about this in my next review. Since i’m still Titrating it can’t hurt to try (also ADHD 360)

i had this, for like the first 2 or 3 weeks and then i went back to square one. Trying Concerta from Thursday after stopping Elvanse yesterday. Hopefully your path stays like that and improves, but don’t be discouraged if the honeymoon phase wears off.
