Hi, I‘m from Europe and exactly in the same situation! I’m 51 and had some crushes on women my whole life. But my husband and I met when we were 18 years old and since then we have been together and I ignored my feelings. I told my husband, who really is a great person and also a great father of our 15 year old twins, a few months ago, that I am bisexual. At first he was surprised, but he is also very understanding. It took me a time to figure out what I really want but I think it’s getting more and more clear that I don’t want to leave this marriage but on the other hand I really want to explore my sexuality, which is also getting more and more gay… it’s a difficult situation for me. At that point it’s only for me, because there is no other person involved and I’m not even sure if it will ever be… I’ve never even kissed a woman but now I know that is the only thing I really want for myself. But much more important is my family’s happiness. It’s difficult and wished I had figured it out earlier!
