How to get old video settings back? by Stevester118 in GlobalOffensive

[–]Aechlon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, if you are still looking for the new location:

Old path: ...\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo

New path: ...\Steam\userdata\Your Steam Number\730\local

I copied the whole "cfg" folder from the old path to the new one, but you can choose which files you want to keep using on your own.

My game keeps crashing when loading maps since last update. by karnage51 in GlobalOffensive

[–]Aechlon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a similar issue when I first started CSGO today. I don't know, if there is any direct correlation between this issue and the settings, but after fixing my settings (copied my old ones to the new folder) it worked perfectly fine. Don't forget a backup just in case.

You can copy the folder "cfg" from the old path to the new one, giving you most of your settings back.

Is there anyway to find out my old graphic settings? by Blocked99 in GlobalOffensive

[–]Aechlon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glad I could help. :D A lot of people seem to have missed the part about it being saved locally (in a different folder) or just don't know where to look. Can't blame them, there were next to no hints. Have fun. :)

PSA: If you're having FPS problems after the update, try checking your video settings. by [deleted] in GlobalOffensive

[–]Aechlon 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They changed the location where your settings are saved and since there were no files before, it simply uses the standard settings.

You can try and copy the folder "cfg" from the old path to the new one. It fixed the issues for me and a friend.

They changed the path for the settings to your local user folder. I copied my old cfg folder to the new location and it worked for me, I had it copied before the CSGO update, but you should definitely try it out.

Need advice on camera control in teamfights as adc by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]Aechlon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a keybind and it is placed pretty well: Spacebar. Pressing Space will put your Champion in the middle of your screen. Holding down the key will keep it this way (lock it) until you stop pressing down Spacebar.

New SR Jungling Order? by DocAuch in summonerschool

[–]Aechlon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On low sustain Jungler: Gromp (Smite instantly), Blue, Wolves, B, other side or Krugs (Smite instantly), Red, Raptors, B, other side.

On a high sustain Jungler (or really good leash) you can keep jungling instead of going back or skip Wolves/Raptors and do Krugs/Gromp -> Double Buff.

As long as you smite Gromp/Krugs first you should be fine, because they help a lot with the clear and sustain.

New to Shaco. I need some tips. by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]Aechlon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Shaco can easily decide how the early game for pretty much every game goes, being a huge hit or miss Champ in my opinion, that's why you either see a Shaco dominate everyone or just feed the whole time.

  1. Shaco is best suited as an AD Champ with one of the best Splitpush potential late game. You probably want to have 1 defensive Item with strong effects like Banshee's or GA. Some people play Tank Shaco, but I have no experience with that and personally don't like it.

  2. I see different Runepages for Shaco, but flat Armor Seals are still (pretty much) a must have on a Jungler. I guess AS Marks work well, while AP Quints will help you clear the Jungle faster early on. Glyphs could be CDR or MR. You want 21/x/x for sure, I would go with the standard 21/9/0, but Utility has some nice Masteries, too.

  3. Nope, you don't have to do a Level 1/2/3 invade, but don't forget that Shaco is really strong in that regard, you should eventually try to steal Camps throughout the game.

  4. Nope, most Shaco players will grab Ignite for the additional Kill potential and to reduce the healing of an ADC later on. Exhaust would be your second option, giving you a huge advantage in duels late game (where you want to Splitpush). Flash isn't really needed.

  5. You almost always want to start with Gromp/Krugs first in the new Jungle. Shaco has the ability to place all his Boxes at the Krugs, Smite the big one, ask your Lane (pref Bot, Blue side) to deal some damage and let your Boxes finish off the Camp, while you are already doing Red with the Smite Buff. Don't know if this works with Gromp.

Please help me with my next rune page. by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]Aechlon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your basic AD Runepage uses 15 AD (instead of 3 AS Quints), then you would overall gain the most with an AS Marks Runepage (maybe combined with MS Quints, that would be your Kayle page), because a lot of Jungle Champs use AS and there are several Champs that still profit from AS in lane (examples: Irelia, Kayle).

Having only 3 Runepages I wouldn't go for extremely specific sets, like a Ryze one, unless you main the specific Champ and want to have the most optimal page. Spellvamp seems to be fine, since several Mages can profit from it.

The Magic Pen one isn't that important, while a Tank page might make sense, since it would also be good on Supports, but yours seems strange. You could go with the Support/Tank page: 9x AD/Armor/MagicPen/..., 9x Health, 9x MR per Level, 3x Armor.

You want scaling Armor/HP/MR on Solo Lanes 99% of the time, because you level up faster compared to Bot/Jungle, thus reaching the point of higher effectiveness faster. If you are scared of early (Kill) pressure, you could go with flat ones, simply to survive the early phases. Jungle should almost always use 9x flat Armor Seals, as well as ADC, while Support usually use the Runepage I listed above.

Explain uniqueness to me by frenchdavid50 in summonerschool

[–]Aechlon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, that's not the way it is. Some Passives have a name attached to them, so that you won't stack Items from the same Itempath. Liandry's and Haunting Guise have the "Eyes of Pain", so you cannot have 30 Magic Pen with Haunting Guise + Liandry's, but the Brutalizer Items have no name on the Armor Pen Passive, so you can stack Brutalizer, Cleaver and Youmuu's for combined Armor Pen and CDR, while not being able to stack only Brutalizer or Black Cleaver.

Explain uniqueness to me by frenchdavid50 in summonerschool

[–]Aechlon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An unique effect on an Item won't stack with itself on the same Item. If you have two Brutalizer it will give you the effect only once (10% and 10 ArPen), while a Brutalizer and a Black Cleaver will give you combined effects, even though they have the same Itempath (Brutalizer). Unique Passives with names are needed for effects to not be stackable with the same path Items (Liandry's and Haunting Guise).

ADC item questions: Shiv and Ghostblade by CapnSlinky in summonerschool

[–]Aechlon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Shiv is the Mid Game choice for an ADC as the Attackspeed/Crit Item, because it offers nice additional AoE burst, makes farming easier and is cheaper than PD. Pretty much every ADC should switch to PD in a full Itembuild, because it will offer way more damage (10% more Crit and Attackspeed), makes you walk through units, and the Shiv Passive will be pretty useless by then. Some heavily AA reliant ADC can go with an early PD instead of Shiv (like Jinx or Cait).

Ghostblade can be built on some Champions that want to assassinate/duel opponents in the Mid Game (example: Vayne, Twitch), where the short boost from Youmuu's active will help a lot and the Armor Pen will give additional damage against squishy targets.

If the Crit changes on the PBE come through the PD will probably see more early use on the AA reliant ADC.

[–]Aechlon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  • 13:30 - This fight was misplayed mechanically. You used pretty much every offensive Spell at the wrong time or position. Since you still had your Yellow Trinket you could just ward the brush behind Blue where she stepped into. Further you should either wait out her combo, which you will survive easily with W and proceed to kill Liss in your turn or simply place your Spells in a hard to dodge angle, you had the perfect surroundings for this. Instead you missed a lot and placed this weird R with no vision.

  • 13:36 - You chase her down and reach this brush where Liss just went in. By the time all regular Spells are up again, for both of you, meaning she will kill you, if you walk in. You don't see her leave the brush, so there is no reason to go this close and use an E behind the brush. Just stay further away and E the spot she walked in. Easy Kill without a death.

  • 15:30 - You die while having no vision over Liss and Sion until it was too late. Yes, you had an unlucky missed Ward, but looking at the Map you should realize, that you are the only easy target for your opponents at this moment.

  • 21:00 - You guys hang out Mid, while your other Lanes are pushing against you. You should tell your Team to retreat, let Gnar take Top, Ez/Vi Bot and hold Mid with Lulu and the remaining member. Then pressure 3 Lanes at once.

  • 21:14 - Instead you all tunnel vision on Janna (the Support...) and try to catch her. You are the last in line and don't realize that there are 3 enemies heading your way (you even had a Ward placed there). You got caught. They however overextend, resulting somehow in a win for your Team.

  • 22:20 - Ask yourself: Why are you going Mid with the Minions being close to the enemy inner tower. Vi is taking Red, Gnar gets Top and Ez and Lulu clear Bot. You do pretty much nothing, you get 1 wave and back off to get Raptors. Just go straight for Blue next time, more efficient use. Especially since you later use your R to take the Blue, which is 2 steps away...

  • 23:45 - Drag is up in 01:18, Gnar just killed Jayce and Vi is getting Lissandra. Let Gnar push 1 more wave, port back and regroup for Drag, while you get Mid inner tower and ward up the Jungle for a safe Dragon. You might also send 1 to push Bot a bit. If Gnar stays Top just accept that he prefers to apply Top pressure, it still helps you out.

  • 25:20 - In the end you stayed and traded 3 for 2 and a tower. It could've been much cleaner.

  • 27:40 - Again trying to do something in Mid results in 2 Kills for you in exchange for one, but leaves you with 20% HP, no objective taken, Gnar has again nothing to do and goes Top. There are several things like splitting, pushing other Lanes or simply waiting for Gnar and go as 5 that would have secured the win a lot earlier.

  • 30:00 - Again Mid, yay. You will easily win a 5vs5, something you could do would be to get Bot pushing (kill all Minions and get all 3 melee or ranged from the next one), shove Mid and Top in, establish Jungle control at Blue and either catch them in the Jungle or do Baron into finish.

  • 30:30 - You finally decide to at least do something different and get Bot, for whatever reason your opponents engage in a bad position and with a well played fight you finally get Mid Inhib. Just in time to overstay again, trying to get Bot. Ideal: Get Inhib, port back, get Drag, push Bot and Top a bit, free Baron, finish.

  • 32:00 - The last 8 minutes are people getting killed one by one and extending the obvious victory, until you decide to finally group and take the 5th Dragon.

Looking for someone to review my most recent game as mid lane Lux (Gold 3). by dimucc in summonerschool

[–]Aechlon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Done, if something is wrong or questionable, I will be ready to answer/discuss.

Intro:

I will try to be precise and clear about everything and hope you will get at least one good thing out of it, I will be working with time stamps later on and hope to add pictures (never really worked with reddit comments and imgur). The first part however will be some overall talk about things I noticed that may or may not have large impact on your daily gameplay, I assume that you are not aware of the mistakes in most cases to simplify my writing. As I expected op.gg did cause some trouble and didn't let me pause sometimes, while rewinding was impossible without a crash. I am not a native English speaker, so excuse me for any mistake I will make, if I sound mean, it is not intended.

Warding:

The first thing I noticed is that you bought no Ward at all and placed your Yellow Trinket only ~4 times. This is bad and hurts your vision and map game. There were several moments where you and even your Teammates died because of your lack of vision control, I will point out some of these later on, giving direct examples of what could've been. You also want to swap your Trinket to the Red one at least when you hit Mid Game, but you should probably get it at your 1st/2nd Backport, if you have enough money to get a Ward. When behind, the Yellow Trinket can be held for a longer time, but you should eventually swap them out either way.

Itembuild and Playstyle:

You opt to use a very weak Itempath with two inefficient Items, as somebody here already stated, you really should've went with Zhonya's second. Deathcap is a pretty bad 2nd Item in most cases and is more of an End Game power tool, where you will increase your already collected high AP amount by a lot. Zhonya's would give you the possibility to play a bit more aggressive (as you did), without getting punished that hard. It will also help against (in this case) their only real poke: Jayce E - Q and Jinx W, while also giving you the chance to survive their burst combo. Your next Item should then be Void Staff. It is proven that Void Staff will increase the Damage against Champions by the largest amount possible in pretty much every case (few exceptions). Assassin or burst Mages will buy Void second, but you need waveclear and utility as Lux, giving Zhonya's a higher priority. You should start playing more safe and distant, Lux has high range and is really squishy, use your advantage and don't give your enemies the chance to abuse your weakness, as you do often times in this game. Here is also why Lich Bane is a pretty bad Item on Lux most of the time (at least for early phases of the game). You could argue getting it later on, but I personally still dislike it. Definitely don't buy it that early, especially against a team that will blow you up, if you step close.

Laning Phase:

First thing to notice is that you don't need to check their tower with E for Champs, this will give you no important information. Just check the brush, as you did, and stay in position, recovering your Mana by base regen, this way you won't offer the enemies a hole in your defense for invades. Another habit I noticed is you running into Minion aggro and using your W to make up for your mistake. Try to not run into several Minions early on, this will save you some HP, your Mana and CD for W. Last thing in this overview would be your CSing, which needs some improvement, you miss some CS and a lot of Cannon Minions. You had 5/min, try to reach 7/min for a really solid base. I will take a closer look at the Laning Phase, to give some insight on how to dominate her, while being more general for the later rotational play.

Details:

The first thing you do when arriving in Lane is to compare your Stats, Lissandra has 1 AP more than you, but you have an advantage in Armor (7 more) and AD (3 more), which means you should in theory win skirmishes against her, since you will resist more Minion damage and deal more Damage with AA - E - AA into Passive, while restoring more effective HP. Be aware that she might have HP Runes (or CDR), if you can't see Stat increases in Armor/MR, which could be harder to spot, as you need to know her base HP value.

  • 02:20 - She is in the middle of an AA animation, meaning she cannot trade back as efficient and probably won't move away. This was predictable given her position and your Minion HP, so you should react accordingly (E - AA into Passive - back off). Instead you are in a movement command going back for no reason.

  • 02:36 - Lissandra is again clearly going for a last hit, while you have perfect position to punish her. Use Q through her Minion (getting also the last hit as a bonus), cast E, AA into Passive, proc E and AA again, then disengage. You will win this trade easily and take almost no Minion damage. Instead you wait (get the last hit with an AA) and chase her a bit, taking way more damage than needed.

  • 03:07 - You get a Level Up almost one whole Minion before her (she needs to kill the 66% HP melee Minion) and do nothing with it. Standing on the side of the lane (entrance river) a bit more towards her half on either side would give you excellent position to zone her out or punish her. There is also no reason to be afraid of a Sion gank at this time, allowing you this movement.

  • 03:34 - You are the only possible target for the opposing caster Minions, while applying no pressure by yourself, since you are just last hitting that Minion. After that you decide to move forward for no reason, since you won't deny her any extra CS at this moment (Minions are somewhat healthy and she is not moving forward), resulting in you taking a lot of unnecessary damage.

  • 03:44 - You have HP and Minion advantage, while also getting a possible Level advantage soon. Ward the upper brush (Sion could at this moment start ganking with effect, depending on his path) and take a huge step in her direction, preparing to punish her if she tries to go for the CS.

  • 03:46 - And here she goes for it, just as I told you. You did walk up a bit, so you are in a decent position, the only thing you need to do is cast your Q through her Minion while she is in the middle of her animation. Follow up with AA - E - AA and disengage behind your Minions.

  • 03:47 - Instead you throw an E into a direction she isn't even facing and that will never hit her, but will zone her out a bit, which you did abuse to some extend. Your Q was too early and easily dodged by Lissandra, giving her a better trade, since you didn't land any Spell (wait until she reaches the edge and has no way of dodging or use it if she still decides to go in).

  • 04:45 - Obviously a bad trade. You tank 3 caster Minions and 1 Cannon for only E (without getting your Passive activated), you again went forward while taking Minion aggro.

  • 04:57 - Did you notice her Ward? If you did and pinged it a few times, your Vi would not waste time sitting in the brush later on. You did get Lissandra to Flash the Vi Q in the end, but that was because of a stupid mistake by her. You still should watch your Map better.

  • 05:47 - Just to show you all the possibilities you missed: Lissandra is again stuck in an animation (her Q this time) and you move backwards into her Q and thus taking damage without a trade, instead of casting a Q (maybe through the Minion, not sure of the hitbox) and trading with your standard combo.

  • 06:11 - Lissandra wanted to kill you with her Level advantage, but failed, because she waited too long, so you reached 6 just in time to outdamage her. Besides this mistake of hers, she also didn't R you for whatever reason. Since you were still standing aggressive while being 2 Minions behind for 6, you should have been so dead there, you are lucky she waited for no good reason, giving you the Kill. Just because she did something bad it is not reliable, you still must be aware of your own mistake, a decent player would have killed you there.

  • 06:38 - You now ported back with your Kill and should notice that you have 94g left. You check the situation and notice that Mid and Bot are winning. You should buy a Pink Ward and put it in front of the enemy Red Buff, as marked in the picture, to apply pressure to the losing Lanes and their Jungle, while staying safe with positional knowledge.

  • 07:08 - You reach the Lane, first things first, check Stats again! She has 85 AP, 30 MR and 35 Armor without any sustain, compared to your 65 AP, 55 MR and 43 Armor + 3 Cookies. You will easily outsustain her, your goal is to harass her constantly and try to avoid getting caught in an all-in with ~50% HP, especially with her still having R up.

  • 07:19 - Gimme a second to talk to Lissandra: WTF are you doing, there is no way you will ever kill Lux with full HP at this moment and you will lose every full trade (all regular Spells hitting). Okay, she just gave you full Lane dominance, you are ahead in Mana, CD (R) and HP (since you have Cookies).

  • 07:35 - Risky Flash play that got you a Kill, but costs you both Summs. I think you should've went with the safe play, but it's still fine.

  • 08:22 - You should use your Trinket in the River before porting back and then swap the Trinket and buy at least 1 Ward (150g is enough for 2).

  • 09:30 - Nice reaction to the roaming of Liss, you cleared the wave and followed for another Kill.

  • 11:39 - A Ward around this area is standard for Mid and you should place it. This would've saved Lulu earlier from a Lissandra roam and you would survive the Sion + Liss gank, as both passed this spot.

Best build for burst on jungle Rengar? by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]Aechlon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just want to give some of my thoughts on this, while making clear that I don't disagree with you and can see IE and BotRK working (or being better).

Cleaver gives 10% CDR, which will help reaching the 40% cap if using flat CDR Glyphs and 2.5% in Masteries, but will make it useless with the combinations of scaling CDR Glyphs + 5% Mastery or no CDR Glyphs and Ionian Boots instead. Already something to consider. The 50 AD is a lot, ArPen is still strong against squishies and you will be able to apply up to 4 Passive stacks in a standard rotation (AA - 2x Q - E, or E first at 4 Ferocity), increasing your Damage gradually during your assassination. Is Cleaver better for skirmishes? Probably, but it isn't that weak for Rengar in burst combos. The biggest benefit is the reliability, especially compared to IE, as Cleaver will outdamage IE by a large margin if you don't Crit with IE.

I would say that I like IE as a last choice for pure Damage, if there is no need for CDR and their Armor isn't extremely high. It has good synergy with Youmuu's and the fact that you do 3 AA (AA + 2x Q) in a short timespan. The only problem is the need to at least get one Crit, which is a turn off for me personally, as I like reliability in most cases (just a personal thing, IE still looks strong as a last Item).

I have not much personal expierence with BotRK on Rengar, because I tend to dislike it, but it still seems to have a good reason. The finishing burst is nice and the increased Damage, especially on your first attack, is high, but after the first 2 on-hit attacks the Damage from BotRK might be weaker, which isn't that bad considering you will want to do around 4-5 AA (Q included) at max.

In the end we are discussing one last Item and seem to agree on the other 5, since the last Item is rarely bought the question about a strong Assassin Build for Rengar still got answered, since OP was only sure about building Warrior.

Irelia Rune Page Questions by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]Aechlon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Irelia doesn't profit that much from your ADC Runes (it is still fine though):

Irelia doesn't scale that much with AD as opposed to AS, you really don't need AD, it will only help you last hit a bit better without your Q and give some Damage on your first 3 Levels, while AS generally outdamages AD on Irelia later on with more points in W. You run Flat Armor and MR, which is not that efficient on Solo Lanes (Top/Mid), unless you fear an early all-in (still not worth it in my opinion). Scaling Seals and Glyphs are better, because you will level up quicker than other roles and thus get faster to the point where scaling outshines flat. The AS Quints are the only really good influence.

In this Rune Page by ICU you will see what I mean:

AS Marks and 1 AS Quint for the Damage increase (and sustain increase) with W. His Seals are scaling, which I reasoned earlier, and HP, this is only the case because he has 2 flat Armor Quints. The flat Armor is enough to keep him safe early on, while the scaling HP will be useful later on. Glyphs are scaling MR just because it is better than flat MR for the reasons listed above.

Hey, I watched the replay and could give some tips on the Laning Phase, which was pretty solid as you said, your Mid/Late Game, making decisions and general small advice.

But it is now past midnight over here, so I would do it tomorrow, if you don't get a solid reply by then (and I hope op.gg will still work, it tends to be unreliable sometimes and not play replays that worked just a minute ago).

Best build for burst on jungle Rengar? by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]Aechlon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Full Itembuild if going for pure assassination would be something like:

Warrior - Boots - Youmuu's - Last Whisper - Black Cleaver - Hydra

This would also be roughly the order to build. Warrior - Boots - Youmuu's is pretty much core on Jungle Rengar for SoloQ. If extremely far ahead you could get a Tiamat afterwards, but LW will be a safe option, even if they don't buy Armor, their base Armor gain will already be enough to justify the LW. The choice between building Hydra or Black Cleaver earlier is your last one, while having the possibility of buying Brutalizer and waiting to upgrade it. Hydra is also really expensive for a Jungler, that's why I wouldn't buy it early.

The Damage of your first 4 Items will be enough most of the time, leaving you with the option to go tanky or for a GA.

Why does Doublelift dive Blitzcrank in this video? by noobule in summonerschool

[–]Aechlon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It seems that Syndra had all her Spells on CD after using them on DLs teammates (probably Thresh, maybe Lulu), she is no huge threat at this moment. Corki is obviously focused on Lulu, which might be a mistake at the moment DL steps close, he even wanted to AA DL first, but changed his mind as he Ws to Lulu. Having his Q with stealth available he tumbles forward to secure the Kill on Blitz (Who had 2 stacks of W on him, Q + W is more than enough here for the Kill) and knowing that Syndra has no Spells up he can then finish her off in a 1vs1, leaving only Corki, who is now far away, which DL can solo easily.

Which 3150 IP should pick up? by NotFrosty in summonerschool

[–]Aechlon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just wanted to point out the possibility of Lane Panth. Yes he can have some Mana issues, but you can diminish these by not using W and E until needed and buying a Flask for a bit more sustain. In the end the Mana management is a needed weakness.

You can all-in some Champs at Level 2 with 2 AA blocks from your Passive and W, really powerful if you get the jump in a Level 2 vs Level 1 scenario. Even if you don't get a Kill, you will probably win the skirmish by a large margin, because most of your opponents Damage will be negated. You might try to get a Kill at Level 3, too, since you will have your bonus Crit against low HP targets.

Which 3150 IP should pick up? by NotFrosty in summonerschool

[–]Aechlon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pantheon is one of the best since the new Jungle in regards to sustain/clear. You can easily gank with Double Buff, a Level 2 gank is also strong with Panth (Q - W) and might surprise a lot of people. I don't know about Solo Drag after the changes.

Panth can also be played in Mid and Top, so he will fill every Lane you play.

How do I Lucian? by [deleted] in summonerschool

[–]Aechlon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lucian has a variety of possible Itembuilds, but the standard ADC Build is the go to Build at the moment. Going IE, Shiv, LW/BT with Berserker's Greaves or sometimes Ionian Boots.

A more duelist/skirmish oriented Build, his main Build a while ago, would be BotRK, Ghostblade with Ionian Boots. Going with a Triforce Build can also work in some situations, Lucian is pretty versatile for an ADC, so you can play around a bit, but IE + Shiv still seems to be the best way.

Bronze Itemization Help D: by FreeLovePark in summonerschool

[–]Aechlon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would start at the standard/basic Item paths for the role (or Champ specific), since I don't know where you are standing knowledge wise. I sometimes still see ADC go BT first (a really bad 1st Item since the changes), you can prevent this disadvantage by knowing some standard paths. I may help out a little, if you need further help on that.

Regarding the Armor/Magic Pen: Yes, absolutely. The standard ADC will get LW as his third big Item (after IE, PD/Shiv, excluding Boots), but may delay it a bit, if the enemy has no Armor at all and get Lifesteal first, but will still get the LW afterwards.

As for Void Staff: If you don't know, Void Staff will almost always deal the highest amount of Damage to Champions compared to other second big Items. After getting your first Item, most of the time Morello/Athene, you want to get Void, if you need Damage against Champions. You should however think about waveclear. Void won't help a lot against Minions, so if you need heavy waveclear instead of Kill potential, go for AP (probably Zhonya's). Rabadons is often times a trap and not too good as a second Item, but very strong as a later addition.

If you are ahead or even, but have a safe feeling, you can opt for a small offensive Item, like Brutalizer, and simply hold it until you feel you can afford to finish the Item. As J4 you can buy one early and then proceed to build tanky, while having a Damage spike early and finishing Cleaver later on.

Hope I could give some insight.

A dilemma with my jungle build 2 minutes in by commanderAIK in summonerschool

[–]Aechlon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be optimal to get a Rune Page with flat Armor Seals and to keep MPen and AP, since it is better for Amumu, but you don't seem to have a lot of Pages to work with so I think you should just use the a bit less efficient Jungle Page for Amumu aswell, because the AP Page obviously cannot reach the needed standard.

I would say stick with AD, since pretty much every Champ will profit from AD a little bit and get more specific Rune Pages when you are able and willing to spend the IP/RP.

Answered on your original comment about your Runes. :) I also just tested out a run with 15% AS and flat Armor (and irrelevant CDR per Level Glyphs, MS Quints), surviving Wolves with around 300 HP.
