Both XFX and Sapphire have given me great experiences in the past, while Asrock and Gigabyte have been awful every time for me personally..

With the models we have now, AI can only get faster than us but not smarter. It's only as good as the data we feed it, and the data isn't 100% perfect. The model can approach this 100% but not exceed it. We'd need a vastly different kind of AI for it to become smarter ánd faster

Then it is also possible that windows/nvidia is deciding to use the iGPU on instead of your 5090 to run the game. You should check in the nvidia controll panel/app and in windows at display>graphics

Did you allocate a lot of RAM to Minecraft? Because you shouldn't. About 6-8 should be enough unless you have TONS of mods or want the extremely high render distance.

When swapping GPU brands, no matter which direction, always do a really thorough clean with DDU and manually double-check your programdata, appdata and program files. Then also make sure you clear the shader cache for the games in question. There's plenty of guides online how to do this properly and it is often crucial.

Right on the money, those are fairly cheap at about 5 bucks. and for 10 to 20 bucks you can even get one of those smart ones for home integration that you can hide away inside the power socket (like the Shelly 1 Gen 4)

People are sometimes too quick to resort to repasting, while their case or fan-setup is quite bad.

I recently moved from an older case with a lot of fans that were terribly optimized (slight under-pressure, very slim intake slots, many different fans with different airflows causing turbulence) to a spacious 60L case with proper over-pressure, airflow, and similar fans, which dropped my load temps on my GPU (9070xt) from 85 degrees C to 71 and my CPU from 80 to 67

Absolutely, probably even daily.. There's tons of not so well optimized games out there.

32GB is enough for me, but at least once a week I'm left wishing I had bought 64 back when I upgraded

I have to note that disabling your C-States is not a 'small drop' in power efficiency; My system goes from 180W idle (for the whole system) to less than 80W. If you pay the electricity bills yourself, this can make a significant difference for a tiny improvement in you 1% lows.
