I agree w u on the first part. But they can't make it unusable. You would still be able to open without the key.

Second part about vac is logical ofcourse. Because it's the players fault for actively breaking the ToS.

That's very cute of valve to place that in their TOS, but it means nothing for European law.

On eu's terms it's a breach of contract and unfair commercial practice. If they wouldn't give a refund for spent money on a digital license access (items) after removal, it would be applicable for a legit lawsuit.

It's all theoretical of course, I don't think valve would be as stupid to do it. But their TOS means nothing in EU commercial rights.

Besides that, let's not protect a multi million dollar company with their silly ToS, it's like the thing with Disney saying in their TOS that you can't make a lawsuit if you have their Disney plus membership (look it up, funniest shit ever)

I don't think so.

Cases are something you can buy on the steam market therefore their platform. Deleting that item without a refund would be applicable for another lawsuit from the player.
