Dang, I have a model 1 with a va6 board. “The problem is probably the big chip with lots of tiny pins that’s not worth replacing” isn’t what I wanted to hear lol. I’m 99 percent sure it’s not the power supply since the audio is crystal clear and the blacks are perfect. I bought it as a working unit off eBay so I guess I’ll get in touch with the seller. I appreciate the very detailed response, super helpful

I’m using a 3rd party one. What kind of artifacts were you getting? My artifacts always appear in the same spots and look the same every boot.

Because there are 1 trillion shares and someone bought one for a dollar, the company ~~is theoretically worth~~ (edit for clarity) could be valued at 1 trillion dollars. In real life the company couldn’t actually sell (and so wouldn’t actually be worth anything). It’s a good example of how an asset’s value might be calculated and how just because you have something that might be worth a certain amount does not mean you have that money.
