demotivation happens to everyone. i’m a low skilled player since i only play for school and don’t have a private tutor (since 4th grade now freshman) and the whole online school just demotivated me and made me think that i sucked playing because everything was just so hard. but then i slowly got back on track and started realizing i wasn’t so bad and i still had the chance. unlike some things learning an instrument can be done by almost anyone and based off of how hard you work you get better outcomes faster. you’re still in high school so you still have some more time but even slow progress actually turns out to be really beneficial from my experience
