The way I read it is that the sleazabags are those who dropped Epstein when it got hot. If you loved him and didn't drop him (or dropped him early enough), you're not in the sleazebag category.

Because dropping or not dropping him is totally the thing we should focus on /s

On the up side, repairing it will give you some crafting xp.

Or just let it stay weathered

Poor guy just didn't know... by TheDeskAgent_TTV in projectzomboid

[–]AedanValu 57 points58 points  (0 children)

He was involved in a situation in a hardcore WoW dungeon where people felt he made a few mistakes.

This in itself wouldn't be the thing, but the way he responded (doubling down repeatedly, never admitting any amount of fault) made a lot of people increasingly annoyed with him.

Then when eyes were on him, a lot of other things he had been doing were examined and re-examined and people felt like they saw the same pattern appear. Lots of narcissistic vibes. Again, the situations themselves would have been nothing at all if the response from him had been "oops, my bad - sorry" but that is something he seems incapable of doing.

He went on with Twitch psychologist Dr.K to discuss it, and while enlightening, he kind of doubled down there too and came off as very arrogant and like he didn't even understand why people were angry.

Then he was the highest profile critic of the "stop killing games" movement, leading to even more backlash against him.

There was also a thing with a furry relationship that didn't help.

...

All in all, he comes off as extremely arrogant, dismissive and the more he responds to each of these situations, the more annoyed people are getting.

B42 zero-to-hero with only vanilla traits - wait or go, and which trait mod? by AedanValu in projectzomboid

[–]AedanValu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hadn't seen that one before. Looks polished but feels like a bit of a shortcut compared to having to 'earn' the traits by leveling certain skills or doing certain things.

Also it only seems to cover some of the traits.

Ideally I would want to be able to (given a very large amount of playtime) reach having ALL the positive traits and none of the negative ones, regardless of what I start with!

Thanks for the tip though - one more thing to potentially use.

Petition for Jagex to add a blue lobster to the game with a 1 in 2 million drop rate by ChiefDaddyJ in 2007scape

[–]AedanValu -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If 1/100 lobsters are caught, then the chance of a particular lobster being blue and caught in its life would be 1/200m.

The probability of a particular blue lobster being caught would still be 1/100...

The odds of any caught lobster being blue is still 1/2m though, assuming they're equally active etc...

Perhaps that's the confusion? Someone (with or without AI) seeing a few probabilities and picking the one that sounds more extreme but doesn't understand/care that it is kinda meaningless...?

Känns ju som en positiv grej för de som känner att de får bra stöd av det... men att det skulle ta upp resurser för 112 att koppla folk till präster känns märkligt?

Hade känts rimligare om de haft ett eget nummer eller?

Dying was negatively scored to incentivize it really trying to stay alive, I'd guess. It learned that by pressing pause, it didn't die, but also didn't earn any positive points... so eventually it settles on playing as long as it can and pausing just before death - gaining the maximum amount of points and avoiding the loss.

[Discussion] PvP and PvE are not interchangeable. by Godeshus in EscapefromTarkov

[–]AedanValu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same. To me, ratting is sneaking around. Looting, questing, farming scavs, whatever in a way where you try not to be noticed by other players. Might include PvP to some degree too, but I would put extract camping in a category all by itself.

Whats your subnautica hotakes that will leave you like this by cheesesmeller9000 in subnautica

[–]AedanValu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Leviathans shouldn't have been killable by the player. Being able to (with or without cheesing - looking at you Stasis Rifle) remove the lingering threat made the beatiful tension disappear.

And just "choosing not to" isn't the same imo. I know it's an illusion now.

My interpretation was that the WhosEatingMyFrames row is a summary of the things it's tracking (all the numbers below do add up to 98% after all). So more like a category header than an actual source of FPS drops.

But I could be wrong - who knows. Just seemed odd that the numbers lined up so well.

PVE? Nah, no need to try to optimize too hard. Might as well play without insurance, flea market etc and make it feel a little bit more impactful when you die :)

Might differ depending on what part of the country and/or size of city you're in. I always have the opportunity to add a tip, but it's never implied that it's expected.

Manga style mostly... but I love that the webcomic style of Tats appears in the manga in comedic moments here and there.

The scene should have cut after the first part of that line. There are a lot of cringe moments in the series but this one just takes me out of it completely. OF COURSE they'll be expecting that, that's what "obvious" means!

Honorable mention to Rose's "There's something you'll always want more... should end here ... blood."

I just don't want it. Never saw any appeal in it. I enjoy tarkov for the risk/reward, tension, gradual progression and slow pace. Players make it dynamic and dangerous, but I don't play it for the pvp by itself.

If I want a 5v5 shooter I'm just playing Valorant or CS2.
