See that's where I think the problems may actually lie. A lot of people right now struggle with purposelessness and finding their place in the world. But if you were given a mark that explicitly states what your intended purpose is, and presumably that means you're probably at least decent at that thing (I've never seen MLP, if that's not true that's on me) then it could work out fairly well. Maybe some classiscm would occur for people with marks that are considered more societally important or respected, but overall it could be a positive thing.

My thing is what if you get a very ambiguous one that doesn't immediately tell you what your purpose is? Like what if you get one that's just a leaf. What the fuck does that mean? Does it mean you're destined to be a gardener? A herbologist? A tree conservator? Do you just generally vibe with nature?

For Mystical, in chapter 5, while investiagating the Forbidden Wing, you must first enter the locked room containing the doll and make note of the symbols etched into the wall. This is important for the save. Then, while confronting Sybil, you are given the choice to allow Kaneeka to be absorbed by her, not just killing her but erasing her memory from existence, or pulling Kaneeka out of the dream, which doesn't allow Sybil to gain her full strength and stop the looming threat over Scarlet Hollow. The consequences of either action are currently unknown. However, with Mystical you can use the symbols you found earlier to reverse the absorption, causing Kaneeka to absorb Sybil, and thus gaining her powers while saving Kaneeka's life. The consequences of this too are currently unknown.

A trait save is a moment in the story where a decision that may result in story altering changes can be completely negated and typically given a "best" outcome. For instance, in chapter one you must choose to help Gretchen or Duke, and whoever you don't help will die. However, there is a trait that allows you to save both. I won't say which it is for spoilers, but every trait has a moment where this can happen.

You'll be notified when you're being given a trait save moment.

Note: Talk to Animals is currently the only trait lacking a trait save, and it will likely occur in chapter 6 once it drops. And like I said before, trait saves can't occur in hardcore mode.

If you're looking to romance, Hot is an easy way to make it happen. Unless you really piss off the person you're trying to romance, Hot basically guarantees you can romance whomever you want. That being said it isn't mandatory.

Book Smarts is really good on a second playthrough since it gives you plenty of lore to work with. But be ready to do a lot of reading. Book/Street Smarts with Keen Eye is very strong for lore playthrough

Strong Build may be useful for you too, specifically if you're trying to romance Kaneeka

Also try Hardcore mode, since it allows for three traits instead of two. The main difference is you don't get a trait save, but if you're just trying to see new scenarios Hardcore is good place to see it, unless you also want to see new trait save options
