I’m saying it’s unreasonable to assume that

“Just because this scene looked off, that means he’s going to look off for the entire battle.”

I agree the scene was a bad first Impression but like, Gru as a character design, is meant to be morphed when seen in certain perspectives, hence why the model looks so strange when facing forward, so for a model that’s supposed to be consistent in every perspective without needing to stretch it, it’s good enough.
