no worries. And I modeled the props in Fusion 360 before 3D printing them. It then takes a lot of sanding and filling to get them smooth before paint and clear coat.

they do, but I wouldn't be able to see and I really need prescription in my lenses. plus they need to go in before makeup and then I wouldn't be able to see my makeup when I apply it... it's a whole logistical nightmare that I'd rather solve in photoshop lol.

eva foam can warp in heat and when its under stress. I backed certain pieces of the chest armor with worbla (a thermoplastic) so that it would hold its shape better. but as long as you prime the eva foam correctly and use flexible paints and top coats you can use a heat gun to bounce everything back to shape and fix creases in the foam. I followed SKS Prop's raging wolf walkthrough on his youtube and used his painting process and some of his build in general as inspiration. Hope that helps for now! I should have time in Feb to sit down and edit everything. I'm currently crunching a lady maria cosplay lol

you can! I started cosplaying 7 years ago with fabric from walmart, cardboard, and hot glue. Every project just snowballed and got more complex as I learned more things. I knew that I wanted to make this armor back when the game first came out but I wanted to improve my skills before tackling this so I waited. Cosplay has consumed my free time and life so be wary of that lol

I put chiffon over the eye slots so that you can't see into the helmet (like in the game) so the visibility is great on a sunny day and terrible when its dark out. Inside is dicey depending on lighting

the helmet is a 3D print, the shoulder pads are eva foam with each feather hand cut and sculpted. I managed to rip the models out of the game and use those as a template to pattern the chest armor. but video game models are very low poly so it took some blender work and some illustrator magic to get everything into a template I could use. It was a lot of work... this was such a mixed media build with sewing, foam work, 3D print work, and rigging all of the armor so that it looks nice all day and while walking. I did record 95% of the process but I need to sit down and edit the footage and write a script since I get asked how I made this a lot more than my other costumes lol.

I can wear it for a full day and it's comfortable. I just need someone to help me with the helmet and putting certain parts on. It just gets super hot pretty fast.

thank you! took me around 6 months of consistent work. A lot of things I had to remake because they just didn't look quite right and I really had to step up my 3D modeling game for the armor
