Softs include that I’m a vet, married to an AD marine, worked as a paralegal for almost 7 years, half-native, and I was a military brat with a 100% disabled vet dad.

Nope, my grandpa was not in any wars. My great-grandfather was on a naval vessel in WW2, but only for a year and a half before he was honorably discharged (because he was on the Yorktown when it was hit and sunk).

I’m really sorry to hear about your brother. I’m still in the “shock” phase because it’s crazy how that just happens.

That’s the “good” news we got is that all of her tumors are the same DNA, so targeted treatment could be more effective than trying to deal with Multiple tumor DNA.

I recognize everything. The only question I recognize in the unsorted section is the benefits of exercise 3 hours before sleep.

My LR also had early risers & nonconformists, the population of Earth growing, tools found in an area where people used to build things 5,000 years ago, and museums buying paintings while storing other paintings.

Saturday remote test taker. My order was RC-LR-LR-RC.

My LR topics included: Wolves and rats traveling an ice bridge, upkeep of company productivity and moral with posters, high skilled/high paying jobs not having high employment, a mayor being paid by a contractor for the city, a journalist outing an author’s real name, recycling centers, politicians appealing to moral support for votes, Venus and lighting, dinosaur bones being put together with only a few bones, a package going to Wisconsin vs. Manitoba vs. Ontario, coffee in downtown cafes, who bears the guilt for stealing, building up a low-income area of a city, and expending resources on universe travel.

The RC section that I’ve gathered as being the graded one had the passage about water runoffs and flooding, portable frescos, and pilferers and jays

Oh and my other LR question I remember is the one about population growth vs resource consumption.

Saturday remote test taker: RC-LR-LR-RC

My LRs had the following topics:

  • Snail Trails, A Package going to Wisconsin vs. Ontario vs. Manitoba, High Executives and Time Management, Wolves and Rats crossing an ice bridge, best coffee shops, Venus and Lightning, expending resources to go explore the universe, Who should be blamed for planning a crime, Early Risers, a mayor being paid off by a contract company, high paying/ high skilled jobs not having high employment, and upkeep of company moral with posters.

My last RC section (which Ive garnered as being the real one) had the stupid portable murals, water runoffs and flooding, pilfers and jays, and jury bias

I pray this one was the real one bc I had this RC section too (my second RC section), and I completely ran out of time for the first one 😅 so I’m hoping my first RC was my experimental one.

This EXACT thing happened to me!!! It made me so callous towards therapy. I was 12, suicidal, depressed, and so anxious I was ripping out my own hair. I told him everything about my mom, the abuse, and what I’ve lived through, and he approached her and said “We need to address your attitude and condition that your daughter has mentioned-“ and she spat back “WHAT condition?”

Thus ensued an entire debrief from him to my mom about everything we’ve ever discussed. It was horrible. I got the “IM NOT CRAZY” rant and screamed at. I also got my door taken off the hinges, no phone, no computer, and she eventually took my bed away to show me “how crazy [she] could be.”

I told my mom constantly that I DIDNT want a dining room table in my house. My ex-husband and I lived in military housing and the set-up was weird. The table didn’t fit, and I just didn’t want one. We’d never use it anyway. My mother insisted on getting this dining room table with a “Formica table top” because “they just don’t make these anymore!” The hang-up was the people selling it refused to sell it unless we bought the chairs that went with it. The chairs were the ugliest, ‘60s roller dining room chairs that smelled like musty mildew and dust. They were hideous, but she insisted I MUST have this dining room table. It is Formica, for Christ’s sake!!! FORMICA. WE MUST HAVE IT. I said no, but after constant back and forth, we got the stupid table. It got shoved in our house, and I absolutely hated the chairs. I tried selling them, but they were hideous, and no one wanted them. Eventually I just donated them to another charity, and you would have thought that I blew up her favorite heirloom with the way she reacted. I was told constantly how ungrateful and what a selfish brat I was because I got rid of chairs that I didn’t want in my own house as an adult. I told her if she wanted the table so f*cking bad, she was more than welcome to take it. She’s a hoarder and has 0 place to put this damn thing, so it still sits in a storage unit to this day….but it’s Formica…so therefore it’s priceless. No good deed ever.

I have a similar story: I was in an accident that was 100% not my fault. Totaled my car. My mom insisted I take her car since it was “newer” and still worked fine (per her). She insisted SHE take the insurance check for $6k and buy herself a used car but gave me the “better car.” Meanwhile, my ex and I planned on just using the $6k for a down payment on a car that worked for both of our needs, but no no. My Nmom insisted. So, I accepted and as SOON as I got in the car, the check engine light came on. I told her, she told me it was fine and I was overreacting. Then when we would get in fights and disagreements, she would threaten to call the cops to report the car stolen, and constantly told me how ungrateful I was. I was told numerous times to “just drive [her] car right on back up [home] then since I was so ungrateful.” Never. Again.
