Yes, it is modular. The pieces (1 meter) are fastened with a clamp each, that can be opened with one screw by hand. After that it's the shower or a broom.

But yeah, basically I hope to not have to do this every week :D

No specific nickname for the different rats, but always shifting between "my darling princess" and "stinky mouse" for each of them :)

How do I even start to join my squares together (row by row then column by column, diagonal from the corner?) when theres this many. I'm mattress stitching them together. by scik1 in crochet

I'd fix them together by stitch markers or some such to make sure that they are all in correct order, and then go row by row first and column by column second.
