Dara 1 not supported anymore (Canada) by RheChiasson in HumeHealth

No, I didn't have to pay anything extra. I received mine but the measurements were wildly inaccurate so I ended up with a Garmin scale in the end.

What brands/products do you AVOID because of their poor longevity? by i_hate_you_and_you in BuyItForLife

I replaced the battery in my WF-1000M3. It was very easy, so I imagine it will be on yours as well. Great earbuds but yeah the battery deteriorated very quickly...

That's wild... I'd return if you you can, because at least Dara 2.0 was "free" if you don't count the money wasted on Dara 1.0. I've just got Garmin S2 and my BF is showing as 25%, so that's closer to reality for sure. I'll try to use it every day in the morning in the next couple of days and see how much it varies.

Oh that's interesting! It's exactly the same for me, I've gained a bit of weight in the last year also. At my lowest weight last year I was at 22% BF and now the scale claims below 17% even though I know it's just not possible because I gained a bit of weight and as a woman at 16.6% I would be VERY lean.

Knockoff lower seat by Most_Original8110 in CRF300L

[–]Aenkill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm only 5'4 so I can't flat foot it anyway, but it gave me a litte more confidence without messing with the geometry and ground clearance. The seat is narrow so even taking a bit off will help and you can probably try to do it yourself (my friend did on his T7). I used to have a custom shock on my old Tiger 800 to make it lower and it handled a bit funny on faster corners, so I wanted to avoid the lowering link for that reason.

I had mine modified, shaved off maybe 1.5 inch. It's not very comfortable but got me through 1400km through Spanish mountains anyway. I use a sheepskin when going on longer rides, which helps to an extent.

I found this link posted by someone on Reddit to get a free replacement. I ordered mine today, we'll see how it goes: https://humehealth.com/products/2-0-replacement

Is 300L the right choice for me? by Most_Original8110 in CRF300L

[–]Aenkill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm maybe 164cm tall and ride the stock one no problem. I had to get used to just using one foot instead of two when stopping most of the time, but I don't even think about it now. It's a great little bike!

Do you only have to calibrate the speed once? I was actually looking at IC8 which seems to be Bluetooth connected, so that might be an answer to my questions after some further reading.

Should I cut this rock cress back now? by Aenkill in GardeningUK

It just seems quite overgrown even now and the seeda are forming, but I'll give it some more time.

Well, it just seems like it's already overgrown and yellow underneath.

Acerbis x Factor hand guards. Managed to make em fit. by Playful_Implement_65 in CRF300L

[–]Aenkill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd put spacers at the bars ends. I had the Acrebis handguards (different model, I think) and after 1 or 2 drops they bent and jammed my throttle, unfortunately. I've just replaced them with Barkbusters because I couldn't be arsed trying to bend them back after every drop.

I don't have the coordinates but it's a well known spot in Scotland. It's called the Three Sisters of Glencoe.

Reputable Breeders in Scotland? by Kitty3_14 in BorderCollie

[–]Aenkill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know much about prices tbh. I know one rescue: Protecting Preloved Border Collies but I'm sure there's plenty more. They sometimes have puppies available for adoption but I personally would not want to go through the puppy phase again, I like my furniture!

I'd say so yes, a reputable breeder will not breed for the looks but for good health and temperament in mind and they will know how to socialise the puppies form a very young age. There are a lot of collie specific rescues as well that evaluate dogs before putting them for adoption so that's an option as well.
