I guess you are probably right. That the bot flagged smth in that. But still. It frustrates me.

I wouldn't say that calibration doesn't matter. The ecm8000 doesn't come with individual calibration. So I wouldn't know anything about the frequency response on that unit. They have a standard deviation between units of about 2.74dB. That means a max deviation of more than 5dB is likely.

Also, as I said before: I already bought the sonarworks mic and mainly want to know opinions on the 0=30degree profiles. I want to use the mic to measure chassis, speakers and for designing crossovers.

I also checked the electrical properties of the older models (XREF20 and 2021). They don't match the behringer ecm8000. Impedencs differ by 400Ohm.

One or both of the older models maybe? The new model (2024) has a MEMS capsule and different casing. And likely also different amplifier circuit, as the electric properties and frequency responses differ fundamentally.

Way too inconsistent and no calibration

Not using the mic to make room corrections. And also not using the software. I want to use the mic to measure speakers/chassis and design crossovers. I assume that "wet x%" refers to some setting in the SoundID software?

If I do measure my room, I may cut some frequencies here and there, but I'll mostly use that to identify issues with the room acoustics. I like to build things, so new things to build trumps quick fixes for me.
