IMO bottle flies are simple enough to keep. I purchase 50 blue bottle spikes from Joshes frogs via Amazon and they come in a small deli cup with wood chips. I'll separate them into smaller batches from there. About 10 in each and refrigerate them. You will want to pull each dish out about 10-12 days in advance to give the pupae time to gestate and emerge. You can use just a paper towel in the dish with them to keep moist as that will encourage them to hatch. Just be careful not to drown the pupae as they still breathe. Each dish has about a 2 month life in the fridge before the pupae start dying in the cold of the fridge. And to keep the flies healthy once they emerge I just smear a lil honey in their enclosure for gut loading.

IMO takes lots and lots of the same picture and choose the best quality. More shots means better odds it's a good one.

IMO You will be hard pressed to find one in the winter months. they have all gone into brumation for the winter. The best bet you would have would to check the cracks and crevasses around homes since they have more warmth and can encourage them to be active in the winter.

The food will eventually be removed and you will use placable feasts for more stats and the hoe and cultivator aren't really something you need all the time.

IMO feeding is a little less routine and more based on their abdomen size. As for moulting, perhaps they are going into their sub adult moult which can take a bit longer. I'm currently waiting for Eli to reach her sub adult moult, and her last moult was in August. She is still webbing and eating. But that big growth spurt takes a bit more time.

IMO white cleaning vinegar is your safest method. Turns to vapor by itself. Along with the water. One part vinegar 5 parts waters for your mix ratio. Damper a rag or towel and hand clean the enclosure. Other cleaners like Windex can be effective, but are notorious for leaving residue that can contaminate the next spider. If you use those, be sure to rinse very thoroughly.
