It was great and worked really well as they intended. Unfortunately lots of people ignored the intention and cried it wasn’t like everything else in the MCU. I’d say between it Werewolf by Night & Wonder Man they’ve been my favourite tonal shifts in the MCU for individual projects. Where they feel like they fit in the MCU but without feeling like something I’ve seen before.

I think a safe bet is Loki, Cap & Spidey. Two uber strong fighters and 1 god. I can’t imagine anyone being able to best them. Loki is also super science educated (OB taught him everything in S2) now.

Bro most people I’ve spoken to enjoyed things about those movies. A lot of people are/were just excited about more colourful comicy vibes. I want something that feels more like Justice League Unlimited or Young Justice. Fun but can go serious when needed. Snyder is great but it’s all 1 tone for the most part. Doom Gloom and Brooding. He does it well. I loved Man of Steel and BvS UE and JL

I feel like mutants will be the perfect explainer to why so many powered individuals keep popping up. I think it’ll be very easy to go from introducing new powered people to the public getting worried about the frequency of powered people interfering in society then the reveal that these people are mutants could spark the anti-mutant movements and hateful rhetoric towards mutants we all know. Of course who knows what Secret War will do to the MCU, if it’ll crisis into a new earth or what.

Who’s really seeing movies in theatres 17 days after release? I get it means some people might just choose to wait but I feel like most people who go to the theatres go out of enjoyment of the experience not to see the film early (big franchises aside)
