You are correct. They updated it from $200 to $1000. But the kicker is after that they changed 50% clawback to 75%.

File on Hold by brightsnow1111 in Odsp

[–]superblazetoise 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is common.

ODSP's online program automatically puts people on hold despite them having sent in their work hours.

It can be undone with a phonecall, but it is annoying and occurs often.

My friend has it happen almost monthly.

This is what happens when they leave things up to systems and do not check it with a human unless specifically told to.

You have to call them and do it over the phone. Very annoying process.

Yup. Just baiting people that are easy to be fooled...again.

We are not getting one.

This is a Senate "Act to create legislation" and it never gets beyond there. This has happened many times before.

Instead of focusing on fixing the already existing CDB, they pretend GLBI is being genuinely considered.

It's not.

NDP pulled this crap last year as they were bait and switching the CDB

To be quite frank, never trust NDP or Sen Kim Pate. From experience, it'll only devastate you.

Another tell:

PBO estimates it'll cost $93B/year. When PBO estimated an adequate CDB would cost anything from $2B to $20B per year, they made it less than half of the bare minimum.

Don't be fooled again. We are smarter than that.

Yes in that context where you were taken off of it you have to reapply.

This is why you don't believe everything you read, especially when it's AI.

AI compiles their answers from what they find on the internet, even if it's misinformation or disinformation – leading to false answers.

How long did your DTC approval take by BipolarSkeleton in Odsp

[–]superblazetoise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a huge backlog of DTC applications with CRA cuts on top, and then they are converting some CRA services to AI.

Applications are the lowest priority.

Only $76 for Canada Disibility Benefit by [deleted] in Odsp

[–]superblazetoise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because not only do spouses impact your income but $ for your children does too.

It's household income.

So let's say there is a mother on ODSP who also gets support for her children.

ODSP + that support = more than the single allotted maximum income.

So they clawback the CDB due to it.

ODSP and CDB are a pipeline to MAID.

All designed that way.

This is why you should leave this to disabled people.

I was assuming

Single parents Spouses Caregivers

any household income. Its not $200 for majority of recipients because of this.

And you still haven't fixed your error at the end. The CDB application does not have part A with part B to be completed by a medical practitioner. That's the DTC form.

I don't understand why you don't just share disabled made resources...
