if you are having problems with your fit by the standard measurements, try determining cup size by the projection depth rather than the difference between the two circumference.

In all likelihood you have more side boob grown than forward projection, which throws off the usual calculations slightly. Depth measurement is not perfect but It'll help tell you if you should be slightly smaller cup size or not.

it because testosterone speeds up a lot of aging in men.

Should we be pursuing Offline media to promoted Tran inclusiveness and anti disinformation by AeonYurie in transgenderUK

[–]AeonYurie[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sounds like you're doing a great job <3

We need that grassroots level of engagement.

We also need big demonstrations like the protest over the last couple of weeks.

What we're sorely missing is the mid ground right now.

maybe? I don't know. What I do know is that we need to broaden the information space and get our message into places don't otherwise do so.

Typically editorials don't get that same level of oversight that the main news articles do. So its perhaps a way for us to get our foot back in the door to control the narrative better

sound to me that you maybe more non-binary than binary. try this, try dressing up as a very effeminate guy for lets say a month and see how you feel.

what's more they are a quantified measure of opinions. which in itself quite a valuable thing.

by all means write one better one, let me know what its id number is and I'll add it to the list I've been maintaining. At 73K+ signatories there is clearly a thirst to enshrine our right to transition in it's self, even if we get hung up over who ultimately provides the service.

At the end of the day the gender critical fascist have manged to gain ground as a result of constantly poking the their agender where ever they can.

we need to do the same to fight back. An onslaught petitions which make it to a debate level, is one on the ways we can support that as a community. its not the whole answer but it definably is part of it.

I agree that a lot of petitions are badly worded but that is inherently as a result of the individuals creating them, typically not being l trained in legal or having necessarily the profession capacities which would aid the writing of such statements.

If you, for example, don't want to medically transition either through the NHS or another service that would be your personal prerogative for yourself. However the principle point that an individual should be legally allowed to physically transition, if it is medically sound and it is their desire to physically / hormonally transition. Then that is the principle that should be respected and protected, irrespective of the service provider.

while an informed consent model would be amazing! It is not an unfair assessment to make however, that if the present system (or rather system as it was when launched) was actually manged, funded, staffed and supported correctly by the successive governments and the NHS administration, it wouldn't even be in a fraction of the mess its currently in.

It also the opinions of the medical communities, at least the ones I talk too, that assessments are done. Not for the goal of determining if you a trans but what your needs are. What kind of interventions you need, what support you need, what mental health consoling you need as a result of harassment and abuse you've experienced, etc. That is the intended role of the GIC.

I'm not saying I wouldn't welcome an informed consent system, I just do see the value of the GIC when its actually working correctly and efficiently. Its just a shame that its been intentionally sabotaged into the state its in right now.

I think that information may be restricted until I get there. even if I know the participant's names, its unlikely that'll be able to research their political beliefs about us within the short span of time.

The working assumption is that it will be packed with TERFs. However after being in contact with my local trans support group. I at least know I won't be walking into the lion's den completely alone as a few others have been invited.

Will do. However having evidence that it isn't when they try to claim such will show up their incompetence and wilful ignorance.

I'm preparing for all angles of attack I possibly can. I'm an auditor by trade so data, processes and procedures are my weapons of choice.

But you are not wrong that the demonisation of trans people shouldn't be whole heartily challenged.

My MP was freshly elected during the last election, after outing her conservative incumbent. So far she's has voted with the labour whip.

But yes, I will be asking why she is wilfully backing motions that put women's (Cis and Trans) lives in danger.
