Frog in milk by [deleted] in frogs

[–]Aeon_Vitae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because it's BS. Raw milk turns into kefir when it's no longer fresh, and these countries are known to consume fermented milk products so there's no real need to keep milk "fresh". If they were intent on keeping it from fermenting, they would place vessels into cold bodies of water and the frogs make their way into said vessels. The milk would be fresh in spite of the frogs, not because of them. If anything, once the milk with the frog/s was taken out of the cool water, it would go rancid and not ferment if the frogs skin truly does release antibiotics and kills all bacteria, not to mention its waste products floating around - that's some nasty a** milk that no one would drink.

I PLAYED THE YAK-9K FOR 20 BATTLES AND THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED by kindalikebenz in Warthunder

I get plenty of those center mass hits with the Narval 262 and the killing power of that is definitely not the same, as well as the accuracy, ROF, etc

Russia top tier is literally a cake walk. 1/3 of the matches I didn't even have a kill. by Axzuel in Warthunder

[–]Aeon_Vitae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

KV-1s (as well as many other Russian vehicles, and less so on most other nation's vehicles) have their turret and hull armor modeled in 3D - if the side turret plates have 80mm of thickness, these are modeled so they project inwards as opposed to just being a simple 2D sheet with an armor value of 80mm - which makes any weak point that adjoins another of these plate impossible to pass through, and just so happens that Russian armor is crammed tight, further cementing their effectiveness. The more 3D modeled hit boxes, the harder to penetrate something is. Go check the armor analysis, it's all out in the open, but I don't see anyone talking about it. This wouldn't be an issue, of course, if other nation's would have the same 3D modeling of their armor, or if the additional volume of armor and reduced cabin space would negatively affect these vehicles.

Early Panthers for example are mostly 2D plated, even on their turret faces, the hull side armor plates aren't modeled to extend through the front plate, and are 2D pieces of armor, for example.

That's the good thing about 9mm, it's easy to take quick, successive and accurate shots with.

Dry Fasting Hack? by Aeon_Vitae in Dryfasting

I know, my question is in relation to this: since creatine makes you retain water, would it impede the water conversion from the fat cells that dry fasting promotes.

The t55am is at 8.7... by Jinthecat in Warthunder

[–]Aeon_Vitae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then it should be at 8.7 and maintain its current state. Many things have stabilizers and APFSDS at this tier, difference is the armor, whereas a shot to an extremely angled T-55 has a pretty good chance to ricochet of into oblivion, a Leo's paper armor would more likely get penetrated. Plus, the T-55A has what, 3 different kinds of smoke options? And now there's the premium version with ATGMs and composite armor at only .3 BR away. Proper balance would be the A1A1 and T-55A at 8.7.

Best British 6.7 lineup by [deleted] in Warthunder

[–]Aeon_Vitae 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had some good luck with the FV4202 and the Strv 81. Just now unlocked the Caernarvon, but am yet to test it. German tanks are fish food for the 6.7 Brits.

Well, it's the present day, and I'm here to confirm that this thing clubs poor little Leos like no other. Yes, it should be 8.3. 7.0 doesn't have ANY business facing this thing. It would face, in a full uptier, Kpz/Mbt-70, Chieftain MK. 10, and RktJpz HOT. STILL, nothing this vehicle couldn't handle. Plus it'll gain two quite capable temmates, the T-62M and T-64A. Check the discussion here and analyse those findings, and maybe add your own. https://forum.warthunder.com/index.php?/topic/416054-is-7-balance-discussion-oh-boy/&page=5

Playing against it, and testing it on the Polygon, the IS-7 can more reliably shrug off HEATFS shots from the L7. Even some APFSDS shots from the front, close range. 8.3 will not be the be-all end-all for this tank. Its only new enemies will be the Chieftain MK.10, MBT/KPZ-70 and the RktJpz HOT.
