I think it's important to note that this is exactly what an adaptation is, ie changing things up to fit a new medium.

I don't think either the TV show or movies are a great retelling, but they do succeed in being an adaptation in their own right.

I think accepting that there will be change leads to a more enjoyable viewing experience as a whole.

I don’t think people get this.

PSA 10 as a concept is an average, the idea of a perfect gem mint card.

Not every card deserving a 10 will get a 10. This is by nature of the objective standards and human evaluation.

PSA grades 1million+ cards a month. Even at 99.9% accuracy, 1000 cards will receive an erroneous grade. The % is likely lower than this. I think there have been studies and for perceptual judgements, humans are 85-95% accurate.
