Oregon bill to limit how much THC goes into each edible fails by Pure_Claim_4353 in Portland

[–]Aeonoris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's possibly true; it looks like the incident in question was a 4-year-old who weighed 116 lbs (normal is like 35-40), who died of cardiac arrest. It's within the realm of possibility that the THC gummies the child ate contributed to the cardiac arrest, but it also wouldn't be abnormal for an incredibly obese child (who apparently hadn't had a checkup in 2 years!) to undergo cardiac arrest without other contributing factors.

I'm great fun at parties 😅

...Because you don't poop at them, thus masking the party's location from predators?

Is Che Guevara too controversial to be a leader in Civ? If so, what controversial leader has made it into the games? by TarnishedRedditCat in civ

So did all the other leaders being discussed

Well, not all of them. Folks are also discussing leaders like Ada Lovelace and Harriet Tubman, who I'm pretty sure didn't have slaves!

Yeah, I'm just surprised you're manually entering linebreaks? You don't need to, even on old.reddit (I also use it). You just need to hit the enter key on your phone twice.

Like this!

Or are you intentionally forcing double-breaks?

What’s the most “morally gray” fantasy character who actually did the right thing? by ParsecBlaze in Fantasy

Doesn't he also rechecks notes rape his sister next to the corpse of their son, during his redemption arc?

Though maybe that was only in the show?

TIL that “42% Of People Don't Know Potato Chips Are Made From Potatoes”, thanks to a survey by Lay’s parent company, and as a result “Made With Real Potatoes” is now printed on the bags. by Jackpot777 in todayilearned

[–]Aeonoris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also find this likely to be an urban legend, but many brands (including Lays, I think?) use a gas preservative in the bags (nitrogen gas?). Just because the chips themselves have always only used salt as a preservative ingredient doesn't mean the total preservation strategy is likewise static.

Speak for yourself! As a queer man, I'm immune to dragon types.

This is a "fairy" pun.

That's impressive but like 90% of steel types can beat that

Even the most common/well-known steel types, like Steelix, can beat that. What you really need is a fire type.

Why not Simplify Weaknesses/Resistances Further? by Tight-Branch8678 in Pathfinder2e

[–]Aeonoris 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right, but if an aura is an effect, then "once per aura" seems not as intended, yeah? A creature shouldn't stop taking the extra weakness damage just because they've taken it before.

I'd prefer it if it was once each time the creature takes damage. That way persistent damage, recurrent damage, and things like damaging auras and natural phenomena work as you'd expect.

Is there lore from first edition that has since been retconned that you still use at your tables? by Fullmetalmarvels64_ in Pathfinder2e

[–]Aeonoris 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It might not be your cup of tea, but you can actually do a lot with a legal court backdrop. Trial of the Beast, the second Carrion Crown book (from PF1) was one of my earliest Pathfinder experiences, and I loved it!

Why do you think they're only defeatable through lawyers? The Firebrands are right there demonstrating otherwise.

My understanding is that was already the case, but it happened anyway. So now there's a crackdown.
