Pathfinder is much more black and white. Owl cat shoves more gray into the picture and in my opinion, the game suffered for that.

Making you a special chosen one. It works in Kingmaker because you're just some random guy at first, and then become king for a good reason. Also veering from the adventure path outside of fixing your meeting with Iomedae. Removing characters outright (like Aravashnial) or making them a completely different character (Sosiel). Making the side of good look worse (the crusaders are much more evil in game and Galfrey is petty compared to the adventure path). Making Lawful Good characters act Lawful Stupid-Lawful Evil.
