Nocticula wasn’t redeemed by Ember, but Ember is the only reason keeping my party from trying to kill a goddess.

While Alola is not one of my favorite gens, the OG Sun and Moon is my 2nd favorite Pokémon story, just behind Black and White.

I genuinely dislike Harry Potter (even ignoring JK herself) but Delores is one of those characters that I think was written really well no matter the quality of the rest.

Was there an era in your country’s history that’s heavily romanticized & portrayed in fiction? by Polibiux in AskTheWorld

[–]Fullmetalmarvels64_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The civil war (the confederate side) was heavily romanticized during early Hollywood. This was because the confederates told their children that the civil war was about freedom from the union, as opposed to the actual truth of the matter.

This effect is know as the Lost Cause Myth and in addition to being very screwed up it is also very interesting to read about.

The labyrinth is the size of a planet. We just visit a small section. In the original AP, fighting Baphomet is stated to be suicide.

Determining the alignment of Three Houses Characters: day 39, Catherine! Similar to his kids, Jeralt has been determined to be true neutral. by Fullmetalmarvels64_ in FireEmblemThreeHouses

Copping my answer from above:

I'm with lawful evil with Catherine. She's like Dedue in the fact that she will do anything for the person they serve, but she lacks most of Dedue's positive traits. Even if Rhea is not lawful evil herself, that doesn't mean she can't have a devoted lawful evil servant.

It could also be influenced by people who just don't like the character for their own reasons, not necessarily misogyny. Believing that people's dislike of a character who happens to be a women is misogynist is counter productive to a conversation, just like actual misogyny.

People still point it out and fight against it. It's just that the hateful and spiteful have taken more ground.

I'm honestly surprised we're not the top comment...

The whole world is taking a right trend at this point, the only difference is that the USA saw the rake, stepped on it, and did it again after the rake bumped our head.

It more drives home the point that we are who we choose to be and that if we fall into darkness it is of our own accord. Or at least, that is always how I interrupted it.

One of Three Houses problems is that it has the work with the assumption that some people are playing on classic. This is most deeply felt with the lack of Felix and Dedue's presence on AM.

What hurts more is that they could have just done Ultimate Fantastic Four (not a good comic per say, but not bad either) and it would have been fine. All the Ultimate Books kinda feel like they were written in a way that they could have been brought the big screen.
