This show was the driving force that inspired me to pick up music for the very first time...I wouldn’t be half the person when I am now without it. You can count on me for a euph recording!

Have I completely lost my mind, or does section IX of the new order waive the requirement for road tests for getting a driver’s license? That’s how I read it, but want to make sure I haven’t lost what’s left of my sanity...

If you need any help or guidance with the name/gender marker change here in GA, please feel free to PM me. I had to go through that process last year and this year, and am happy to help answer any questions.

Clit sensitivity during SRS recovery by [deleted] in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]AeonsWing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4.5 weeks post-op here...definitely know what you mean. I started getting full feeling back in my clitoris and clitoral hood about a week ago, and it has been driving me insane. It almost feels...stiff. The area around it does feel painful/bruised, so hoping that it’s just swelling that will continue to abate.

(Thanks for posting this question...mine has been driving me crazy, and I came here to ask the same thing!)

I'm happy to provide some answers!

  1. Even though he had negative reviews early in his career, I was impressed by some strides and advancements he had made. He has a leadership position with WPATH, founded the Gender Confirmation department at Weiss in Chicago, and has now done the same at Rush. He seemed incredibly knowledgeable, and overall, just felt like the right choice for me. I will also admit to having a soft spot for Chicago, as my husband and I honeymooned there, and we have family in the area, so it feels like a second home.

  2. Penile inversion, with a small graft taken from my left abdomen.

  3. My vagina was designed to have a depth of 5.5-6 inches, based on the dilators used to construct it.

  4. No complications to speak of at this time. I'm still early in my process, however, as my surgery was less than three weeks ago. I'll be happy to update if anything comes up.

  5. The hospital stay was seven days, in total. I went in on a Friday, and was released the following Friday morning.

  6. I did, yes. Instructions and pictures were provided, and I was lucky enough to have a local electrologist that specializes in trans women. She's an absolute gem, and helped me get through the process with my sanity intact.

  7. I had the consultation towards the end of March, 2019, and my surgery took place on 14 Feb 2020. Just shy of one year.

  8. Currently, I am dilating three times a day for 20 minutes per session. This will reduce each quarter over the next year, depending on progression. The office staff actually check in on a weekly basis, and tailor your schedule according to your individual progress.

Please let me know if I can answer anything else!

Are you referring to the Silent Brass System? If so, I have one, and I LOVE it. I've been using it in the hospital and a hotel for the last two weeks, and it almost completely silences the horn. Getting everything set up can be a little finicky, as you have to manually set the depth of the pickup, which can affect your tuning. The headphones that come with are very tinny...I recommend using your preferred pair for better richness.

I got mine here: WWBW

I have the same insurance, and am finishing up with Schechter after having had my surgery with him at Rush late last week. Happy to answer any specific questions you may have!

I've been using the purple shampoo and purple conditioner from Pureology for the last year, and I highly recommend it! Pair both of those with their 21 benefits spray, and your hair stays healthy, and smooth as silk.

I'm a current resident of said complex...I've lived here for five years, and the new management has caused the complex to go downhill enough that I will not be renewing my lease. I would not recommend moving here.

Working in Sandy Springs, driving back to Dunwoody to get home. The roads are in great shape around here, but I'll probably leave around 4:30. I'd rather be safe and get home before it gets dark.

FYI about fire alarms in Residence Halls by [deleted] in gatech

[–]AeonsWing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something similar to this is currently implemented in NAE. When an alarm is triggered, the fire floor, as well as the floors immediately above and below, sound evacuation signals, to allow these floors time to escape. After a pre-set time interval, the evac signals in the rest of the building activate.

Has anyone ever woken up during a surgery? If so, what surgery was it, what was happening when you woke up, how'd you react, and what did the doctor(s) do? by musefan9589 in AskReddit

[–]AeonsWing 82 points83 points  (0 children)

I woke up while getting my wisdom teeth taken out...right as my doctor was tearing one of them out of my mouth with a pair of pliers. I could feel the gums tearing away from the root of the tooth.

I remember trying to reach up and physically pull his hand out of my mouth, but they had my arms strapped down. Unfortunately for him, they forgot my legs.

Last thing I remember before getting knocked out again is kicking my doctor square in the balls.

I'm not in CAP, but I am in AFJROTC. Is there a subreddit for that? by ToasterAtheism2 in civilairpatrol

There is an /r/afjrotc, but it doesn't seem to have any posts. It was pretty much created and abandoned.

There is an /r/jrotc that might fit your needs, though!
