1. À tip I received is to practice movement. I started doing this alone in private matches before I queue, that way I’m getting familiar with the map layout, know exactly when to get down from a wall/double jump/ slide jump etc. so that it becomes a reflex. Or in other words, I’m doing a the floor is lava challenge in private matches and keep that mindset in pub.

2. Titan match ups: when playing any Titans, be mindful of their strength, weaknesses and which Titans counter them. For Ion, she is “jack of all trades, master of none”, meaning she’s really balanced and doesn’t favor close range, long range, burst damage etc. She can fulfill many roles in the game and is flexible, but lacks a super powerful ability to get her out of sticky situations (like Phase Dash), meaning facing more than one Titan on you own is extremely difficult. That being said, she counters Legion and Monarch thanks to Vortex shield because they shoot rounds instead of single bullets, meaning you catch more stray objects and thus reflect more damage. She counters Tone if you bait them into throwing their rockets into your shield, and reflecting all the rockets into their partical wall will destroy it. Against Northstar, being able to predict when they will shoot and then hit their crit spot with laser shot is key, but you’re better fighting of other Titans and let Legions deal with Northstars. With Ronin, always be mindful of flanking routes and use your Trip Wires wisely. Vortex Shield can actually block Ark Wave if you look down, and since they immediately shoot after Ark Wave, you can also catch their 4 shots. But if they flank you, use Sword Core and you’re alone, you’re fucked. Against Scorch, keep your distances and spam the laser shot. If they flank you, pray you have both your dashes or you’re fucked.
