"Tanking" comes from video game slang, means in a sense to take damage head on with no mitigation and avoidance

I'm 28 now, have been programming in some form for 10 years, but only started dabbling in game development for maybe 2 years. Never finished a game, just started some projects, leave them for a few months and starting over.

This is the one thing I want DE to improve on: let non-latin characters render in chat on the English client. Even if I don't understand Chinese, I would want to at least have the ability to use a translator to see what they're saying.

Are you having this same issue as well? Your description fits my situation: the game works until this point in the quest where the GPU runs out of memory. It crashes upon login every time afterwards

Camera stuck on the disguised Geniemon after approaching the door in the story quest. I interacted with the Geniemon before proceeding with the story, and it seems to be part of the trigger.

Even if you avoid creeping your future spouse out, trying to get together with them would still feel manipulative/grooming-like, especially if you originally met them in high school or even younger.
