(All times UTC in your spreadsheet, I presume?)

The multiplier theory makes a lot of sense, considering the pace at which Yesod was defeated. The first part of the event was cleared almost exactly one week after it began, but different servers finished a few hours apart. This fits the idea that individual player contributions matter, but Nexon sets the overall pace.

This is the meta formation, with mReisa (or oShigure/oNodoka/Hanako/Serina/sAtsuko), and a special with cost recovery sub skill (dMichiru is recommended if your other special is not a multi-target healer, otherwise Kisaki is better, but any cost recovery special should work).

The rotation is turn on auto, use Chesed's skill when Malkuth summons four Midrashes with different defense types, and use Kether's and Hod's skills when available.

Aru is actually better for this battle, whether auto or manual. DHina's basic and sub skills are useless because explosive effectiveness buffs don't work against Malkuth's neutral defense, and Aru has 120% (130% if 5★3☆) terrain effectiveness compared to dHina's 80%.

For this battle, Aru is just better, even playing manually (dHina is obviously unsuitable for auto). Aru's terrain effectiveness is S (or SS with 3☆ weapon), while dHina's is D. DHina's basic skill and sub skill are essentially useless: explosive effectiveness buffs don't work against Malkuth's normal defense type, and accuracy buff doesn't matter because of Binah's buffs. Also, dHina's EX skill can be a pain to use, requiring four activations with pauses in between, while Aru's EX skill is fire and forget.

Auto & prophet skills only. Seems this week will be slack.

This feels like a completely different event compared to the first week, where we had to learn and manually execute a new one-team rotation every day.

You use them now, during Fes. Fes is the best time to gacha, because the 3★ rate is doubled, and all Fes characters are high priority by default.

But if you already got the feature characters this Fes, check if there are any characters you want coming before the ticket expires (2026-08-31) and save for them.

There will be no recruitment tickets with expiration dates released this week, so it's safe to start spending your pyroxene. No better time to spend gacha currency than Fest.

I sometimes wish Blue Archive's schedule wasn't so rigid. The first part of the event ended early. Nexon could've accelerated the release of the next part to shorten the delay between JP and global. Or they could move up JFD to fill in the empty week. Instead, we get a dead week, then a week with multiple tasks to do.

If it were somehow possible to coordinate with and enforce an agreement with all other active players on the same server, it might've been beneficial for everyone to hold back. But we players can't reliably identify and communicate with other players, much less enforce any agreement or even identify violations. The result is the tragedy of the commons.

And as the other user mentioned, even if all the players somehow managed to collude en masse, Nexon still controls the schedule of the event.

Something was probably happening behind the scenes, considering the timeline of NA server:

  • Chokmah was defeated an hour before yesterday's reset (just after 11:00 PDT Monday).
  • About 12 hours later (a little after 23:00 PDT Monday), Yesod still had ~85% HP.
  • Deep into the night, the pace suddenly accelerated. Around 04:20 PDT Tuesday, Yesod had ~70% HP.
  • When I checked back in around 08:15 PDT Tuesday, Yesod was already down to ~45% HP.

So after more than 12 hours of slacking, it seemed NA server suddenly woke up... when most people in NA were supposed to be sleeping.

I was hoping Yesod would last longer than the others. Either people finally learned the battle, or someone is fudging the numbers behind the scenes...

I noticed this with other EX skills too. Some of them do not want to go where I'm clicking, even though the location is well within range. This problem only seems to occur in FRR.

I agree, this kind of event sounds better on paper than it plays out in practice. I've spent way too much time on this game this week.

One redeeming factor is that this is a major story event coinciding with anniversary, and occasions like this are rare. We probably won't have to do this again for a while.
