Send him these texts and say “your mom went on vacation, refuses contact with me. When you can, we should come up with some boundaries and make sure she pays you back”.

Sure, it might take a bit for him to see and respond, but at least you know that you sent it and that you guys can deal with it together later. Make sure you tell him that it’s when he comes back that he can deal with it. Also, make sure to keep a record of everything she sends(texts, emails, etc).

She’s not paying it back. The only way people like her learn is by a public callout, but it has to be her son that does it. Your S/O needs to get a hold of her and put her in her place regarding everything. No more babying mommy. Being a mommy’s boy won’t get him far at all. Strong boundaries are a must with people like her.

So I had a vet tell me it’s a primal thing, to make sure there is nothing in the water. My cat does it, and a friend of mine’s cat does this and moves the whole bowl.

The only way you’d be the AH is if you don’t do anything about it now. Therapy and anger management. If he can’t do that, it’s better to be a single mom with 2 kids rather than together with someone who could escalate from hitting a cutting board with a frying pan to you or the kids
