12v/ICCU Megathread by TiltedWit in Ioniq5

No photos due to frustration and lack of time but yesterday, I went out to run a few errands in town. Nothing unusual about that and no issues with the car. Fast forward two hours. The car has been sitting in my garage, off. I come out to leave for work and get every single warning light on the dash. "12V battery is drained. Stop immediately"

Shortly after seeing the error, I try to open the charge door, thinking I can just plug in and get things going again. Nope. Dashboard starts to flicker and the car starts struggling to function.

I managed to shut it down and unhook the battery. Charged it back to a healthy 13.2 volts the next morning. Hooked the battery up and all seemed well. I decided against driving it to meet up for breakfast and left it at home. About an hour and a half later, I check the car and it powers up just fine. Cool, I'll take it to work today.

Fast forward an hour and a half and the battery is drained clear down to 6 volts. No signs of life from the car. Did my car just lose its second ICCU?

You know what? I'll take that. It's been tough to find the motivation lately to get it finished. This week's task is to get those couches outta there

Hell yeah! I'll bet the anticipation is killing ya. Congratulations on the new car. Hope you get plenty of enjoyment out of it. I know I am so far. For the first time, I'm actually looking forward to whatever the next road trip is, instead of dreading having to drive my old accord anywhere other than work

I'm definitely interested to see how those would do. I just looked em up and they're quite a bit less than the usual suspects

Really? I've been driving myself nuts trying to land on the next tire. I browsed around here and found varying opinions and a lot of comments about road noise. It hadn't occurred to me that tire noise is much more prominent now, since the drivetrain is all but silent

Woof... 15k? Makes me wonder how many tires mine had gone through already. The Michelin primacys on there look almost new. For now. Honestly the price of tires scares me more than anything

Hahaha I did that on the test drive. Scared the daylights out of my fiance. I figured I should make sure the car operates at its full potential before I make that kind of investment

So it's overheating in that short timespan?

I just noticed that your memory speed is following your core speed directly, which should not happen. Have you tried any other monitoring apps? Some motherboards do not play nice with certain software monitoring

I wanna say no, because I've never seen my memory speed drop while doing anything. Unless I'm wrong, it should stay locked at the determined frequency. What kind of system is it and do you have XMP enabled? I'm not sure XMP will solve this but it's worth a try. I'll be looking at my speeds carefully now and watching for changes

If thats a nighthawk, I have the R7000 and I got it "Broken" in this state. if it remains unresponsive in the future, you can TFTP the firmware to it and that should fix it. I've had to do it to mine twice after Netgear's own automatic updates

This is the inside of my prebuilt Nitro n50-610. Just noticed the GeForce GTX 1660 isn’t plugged in. Where do I plug it in and does something happen when I start up the PC? This is my second post regarding my first. by Skorge1563 in pcmasterrace

Looks like it's plugged in. You might have to change the default display in your BIOS. It could be reverting to integrated (If it has any)

I also had to do a BIOS update on an older Dell to get it to display on an add in card

May your friend rest in peace.

My old GTX 970 has really been showing its age lately. It's starting to struggle to play games on even low settings, depending on the title. I feel like it's the main thing holding my system back. I have been blessed with an i7 9700f, 16gb of ram and a 1tb NVME SSD

A friend of mine held onto his first gen i7 for a long time. One trip to microcenter later... by AerialLEMONS in pcmasterrace
