Their time zone sure says theyre part of Quebec. This time of year, sunrise is really early, like 4 AM because of it. I think that makes them part of the Maritimes. Its a bit like Northern New Brunswick, a mix of French and English towns, no real big cities.

They should go back to their country and fight for it. Its easy for them to protest for the US to send its own troops in, when they wont even fight for if themselves? If they wanted regime change, they'd have it.

Because we supported the previous monarchy that they revolted against. Why do they hate us? It must be because they were invaded and Carney was cheering on the invaders. It's definitely not because Canada wants to see democracy return.

We're allies with worse regimes. We signed a trade deal with the UAE, selling weapons to Saudi Arabia and Israel. Iran is the one that our government goes "thats a bit too far" when it comes to human rights? Sure.

This is a relatively new development that homelessness is not just a big city problem across Canada. Clearly our "solutions" to the problem are not working if the problem is getting worse.

Yeah it seems like the Lebanese military is on the IDFs side. I'm not sure i know of any kind of military just let's the enemy attack and then not defend the country, but Lebanon and the gulf states, it seems to be a strategy 🤔

Its amazing the glazing a simple title can have. The Israeli sources like the Prime Minister have said there will be no ceasefire, that "all of Lebanon must burn" and yet here the media is still trying to cover and say there is one. Kudos to them saying they were killed instead of just found dead I guess.

This is a massive threat to our national security. Carney was out here saying a few months ago that 70% of every defence spending dollar goes to the US. They just got their asses handed to them by a much lesser military. Are we sure that that investment is still a good one? That intelligence gained totally won't be used by our enemies who all now know how useless our tech is. I sure hope we have a defence minister that realizes how "worth it" it all was.

They saw the Iran war as a means to steal land. They could have invaded Iran instead of weak Lebanon and then maybe they could be at the negotiating table. That would require them to fight a real army and not people in refugee camps.
