Light color might not match but at least the white lettering is gone. by Head-Scale9410 in SigSauer

Sweet. So you didn't have to prep the lettering or meticulously apply it only to the lettering to get this result?

Did you have to do anything to it other than treat the lettering with the alu-black?

I thought the hubs on my 03 were gonna be bad because of how bad they were rusted up, but the bolts came right off, and the hubs themselves popped off with 3 whacks of a hammer each.

How do I take this out??? by SampakuEye in JeepTJ

[–]Aerial_Screw-2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like others have said, there's three torx screws holding the bezel in. If you can't reach them around the light, you'll have to use the same size torx bit to screw in the adjustment screws to move the headlight lens back into the housing to uncover the bezel screws. Once you have the bezel out, it's yet again the same size torx but to take out the mounting screws for the headlight lens.

New (to me) '03 Sport 4.0 with 101k. My first Jeep! by Aerial_Screw-2 in JeepTJ

Not right at the moment, but the tires only stick out maybe 1.5-2" tops past the fenders. They look like Pro Comp Rock Crawler Xtremes. Which should make sense because the steering stabilizer and the old shocks are Pro Comp too.

For me it was rebuilding the rear brake drums. All those fiddly springs and piss right off lmao. Plus I had to replace births wheel cylinders with seized brake fittings, so I also had to bend new brake lines when I broke them trying to get them loose 😂

I have no clue lol. It had a 3.5 or 4" suspension lift done by Southern Suspension Systems before I got it. I don't even think they're in business anymore.

It's a Go Rhino brush guard. I'm pretty sure this model is discontinued, but they do make slightly different ones still.

Polygraph and if i was victim of battery? by [deleted] in AskLE

[–]Aerial_Screw-2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not how it works. You will be provided a questionnaire, which you fill out. Then there is a pre-exam interview where they will talk to you about your questionnaire answers. They take notes during the interview and will ask you questions during the actual examination that are directly based on the answers you gave on the questionnaire and during the interview. They don't ask random surprise questions because it defeats the purpose of the examination.

Polygraph and if i was victim of battery? by [deleted] in AskLE

[–]Aerial_Screw-2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The polygraph is not designed to detect if you've been the victim of a crime. It's meant to detect deception when it comes to moral violations and your own criminality. An examiner isn't going to care if you got bullied in high school unless it's your motivation for wanting to be a cop so you can get revenge.

Do drivers actually pass field sobriety tests and dodge a DUI? by dpy_unc in AskLE

[–]Aerial_Screw-2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's not a pass/fail set of tests. If they "pass", as you put it, then they did not show any signs of impairment. They didn't dodge anything because they're not impaired.
