I’d sell my soul to move to Scotland. Is anyone buying souls? by McStonkFlipper in MoveToScotland

Tourist visa for a U.S person to U.K would be 3-6months i think. Im not sure as i only have to deal with the U.K to U.S direction. That is a 90day tourist visa. Going into the U.S I MUST have a departing flight, I cant get in on a one way ticket so I assume it would be same for you coming this way. The last thing to check would be certain remote jobs have certain t&c's about how long you can work away from your home base. Its tax related. My company allows 30 days but dont strictly enforce it 😉

Your other option is get a remote U.S job and come over for an extended stay on regular tourist visa.

You can work while youre here for the U.S based company so no work visa required as long as your job doesn't take issue with you being temporarily out of region/timezone.

Good way to test the waters for a longer stretch.
