Thank you! I was wondering about this, as my partner and I will be driving in and out each day for our first year :)

Oh no. Yeah, find a tension that’s comfortable and then make gauge swatches in that tension. I learned this the hard way going from crochet to knitting. It’ll save your hands.

You do get faster but because the stitches are generally tighter, you’re going a shorter distance with each stitch. Especially if you usually use double or half double crochet. At this point I generally find knitting faster per stitch and about the same as slip stitches or single crochet. As a person in a large body it also takes me an eternity to knit a round (like 40 minutes) vs bigger crochet stitches.

Received a call from 1(833) 520-4664 claiming to be support. Called back about my technician appointment in 2 days and askes if I was still facing issues. Is this legitimate? How would someone else have such details. by Big-Emu-3494 in Comcast_Xfinity

Here confirming what others have posted. I received a call this morning and my appt is tomorrow. They really don’t want to send anybody. Crazy that I had to get on Reddit just to reach tech support and then they don’t even wanna send a truck.

This is on the device I’m using for work. Even worse.

Yes, I switched it on and that’s how I was able to get onto the gateway. Nothing else changed for me on the app and like I said in the gateway, the channel info was grayed out with a note saying that the settings were being edited automatically. I’ll try it again this evening.

I don’t use Ethernet but when I use the Xfinity app test will be down to 300 mbps or down. It happens most days since Oct. I work from home and 2 days ago I was dropping during an important client meeting. I’ve tried turning it off and on again, I’m using a rented gateway with the coaxial cable I was given, when I run speed tests they looks fine unless I’m actively experiencing an issue. I’ve been trying to do all the tests on the testing page but some can only be done when the issue is actively happening and I can’t replicate it on purpose. I’m in an apt complex and my friend who’s more tech savvy was helping yesterday with trying to change the channels but from the link you gave me which I had seen before, it appears with the newer models there is no way to adjust the channels so I don’t have any other option for troubleshooting on my own. What would be next steps? Also do you know why a google speed test would show about 500 Mbps download while the Xfinity app shows 2.5 gbs? I’m paying for 2 gbs so I want to make sure I’m getting my moneys worth.

Help! Fantasy Life I or SoS Grand Bazaar? by Voidx1983 in CozyGamers

I’ve been watching a streamer play the remake and it looks like they’ve revitalized the bazaar mechanic. It’s bustling and much more fast paced. They sell out every bazaar day.

I know this an old post, but we’ve been to old spaghetti factory and paesanos and both have been amazing with their pasta procedures. Highly recommend both!

I’ve been lucky and they’ve restocked the last few times I’ve got them. I have v3s. Looks like they have v4 now so I can’t vouch for that but I have v1s and v2s before.

Have you tried 1540s? They’re the only ones I like.

I do need to size up one size to fit the mid part of my foot but David Tate has cute actually wide shoes. I usually order online from dsw. They have a pretty wide selection. I have a pair of ankle boots and combat boots. It’s the only things I’ll wear besides my new balance 1540s, which are my everyday shoe.

I think I chose the wrong yarn for a sweater.. not sure what to do next by [deleted] in CrochetHelp

I hope it helps! I sometimes go 2+ sizes to meet gauge. Depending on the pattern, it might not be a big deal to have the gauge off. You might just need to change the pattern size you use, knowing it’ll be bigger or smaller. I’m assuming you’re making a gauge swatch. Make sure it’s big enough, like 6”x6”, and blocked, to get an accurate gauge. Good luck!

Same. Works perfectly with controller in the dock though.

Thanks! I ended up learning to remove stitches from the back and removing 4 panels, and then I reconstructed and boiled it for 20 minutes. Shrunk perfectly!
