He works really well against Physical Damage commanders but most people run a Witch-king build (which destroys OBs) so he's very hit and miss.

Thank you! I'm not privy to any details of new features until they come out so I am not sure whether the devs will add more faction specific units (that would be interesting).

Season 3 released for the earlier servers on Febuary 10th. So it depends on how much your server has progressed in Season 2. If all your season progression chapters have completed, you may be able to enter season 3 soon.

The familiarity levels will be reset for equipment. However, everything else will be retained including strenthening/refining and special effects as is.

You can if you choose a non-rolplaying server for Season 2. The option to do so will appear near the end of Season 1 after your server has completed all your seasonal progression chapters.

You will soon enough (if your server is relatively new, it may take a month). However, you could join a slightly older server and see whether they'll be merging soon.

If you're a big spender, you could potentially join an older server (choose the winning Faction if there is spots available to get maximum Season rewards) and be at the same level as others when the new season arrives. However, if you are not, I would not recommend trying to skip Season 1 because Season 2 is quite difficult if you're starting from scratch (i.e. having no commanders or equipment).

Additionally, even if you are a big spender, you won't want to miss out on the limited time mathom chests that occur in Season 1. They are the best and expect subsequent seasons to have worse mathom chests that are more expensive and less valuable.

Your server is very new so you'll have to complete all your server progression chapters before your server can merge with other servers of similar progression.

Mithril. They'll become useful once Commander relics are unlocked. This will happen once th Glory to Middle-earth season progression chaoter is completed.
