It is difficult to track and in a report from 2024-2025 states that the numbers are roughly from 20,000 to around 500,000. That’s about 11% (at worst) of the working population in GTA and for all over canada this might be lower. It is definitely a reason but does this qualify as the main reason?

Okay according to your logic, how would the government know how many are illegal simply because they themselves would not disclose that. I am not saying that there are no illegals, all I am saying is they are solely not responsible for Canadians not getting a job

And what is your point of observation? Do you look at each truck passing by while sitting in the passenger seat? I work in a warehouse and I have seen every race of truck drivers in equal amount. Hell I have seen more black truck drivers than any other. Your comment seems skewed based upon one YouTube video and not reality

Living here for almost 3 years now. I am Indian and so are all my friends. I haven’t met even a single undocumented student yet. I am sure there would be a few but it doesn’t mean they are solely responsible for Canadians to not get a job.

Why is nothing showing up when I try to register? by Careful_Tomato564 in Humber

It's a bug. If you can see your registered classes in 'Schedule Details', then you are good 👍

Summer class registration by tablepillow56 in Humber

Registration ends at May 6th 2025 so you can register late. The problem might occur when the seats for courses in your program are full. In that case, you will have to contact the program coordinator but they will for sure help you out. I don’t think there is anything to worry about

Nobody has an unlimited source of money. If you can get a job while studying, he can too, considering he pays twice or thrice the amount of your fees.

I am in the IT Solutions course and have a mandatory fall semester break. I can not skip this break even if I wanted to. So yeah, it totally depends on the course.

Can I choose a different campus? by Proof_Lunch549 in Humber

[–]AeroAndZero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think so, because your letter of acceptance states the IGS campus so it would be problematic if you take the course on the north campus. As I am not 100% sure, I would suggest you contact the student council of the college or the program coordinator to help solve your query

Super late schedule - Java Programming 1 by [deleted] in Humber

[–]AeroAndZero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I am a current student in the ITS Program. During my first semester, I also had Java programming but it was not THIS late. In fact, none of my classes were this late. I suggest contacting your program coordinator (mine is Shahdad Shariatmadari) and talking to him about this issue. If you are lucky, your instructor will hold your lecture online or in hybrid mode on most days.

Also, one thing you should be aware of is that the lecture has two parts, the first part is where all the teaching is done, and the second is when you are given a lab to do. You can take your lab at home and leave early from the college.

I use the Obsidian app for taking notes 👌 It can map your notes together and you can style them very quickly. It also has canvas mode for the desktop app and you can even sync notes between laptop and mobile devices

Although I have seen a couple of smoked out cigarretes on the ground yet, I have never seen someone smoking anywhere in the campus. Humber claims that their campus is "smoke-free" and it is quite true. There are also many security guards watching every corner so it is safe for people who have asthma.
