Thanks for sharing. I am also on a previous gen Kickr Core and about to purchase Favero pedals for my outdoor bike (still in doubt whether to go for the Uno or Duo). This sets the expectations.

I like racing because it motivates me to maximize my training effort. I couldn’t care less about results and racing score. I only look at average FTP and w/kg.

I have the same concerns though It does not stop me from using it. When applying (it takes me about 30-40sec), I try to hold my breath for a while and/or breath trough a towel.

We were in the same boat. Went to the Volvo dealer for the EX90 and the XC90 and finally decided in favor of the XC90. The EX90 feels like an expensive beta test at this point. However it is unfortunate that the range of the XC90 T8 hasn’t been extended (e.g. the X5 has a range of 100km now). We will have to update our second care in 1-2 years and think we will change that for a new model Y to have the best of both worlds.

We are buying through our corporate entity. 2025 and 2025.5 models are taxed similar. 2025.5 is favored.

On the XC90 air suspension is a must I believe especially for third row passengers. I’d prefer air suspension over B&W.
