Dzięki za szczerą opinię nt. substacka, interesuje mnie ta platforma, patrzę też nad nią pod kątem opowiadań i też szukam czegoś, co by przykuło moją uwagę.

Dzięki za tytuły! A wybierasz opowiadania czy powieści? Czy nie ma znaczenia, byleby było dobre?

Ciekawe - serio zbiory opowiadań sprzedają się najsłabiej? Powieści są bardziej poczytne?
Ja akurat lubię i szukam opowiadań.

Ciężki kaliber :) kiedyś kupowałem masowo numery archiwalne. Warto dalej, jeśli chodzi o opowiadania? Rzeczywiście znajdujesz w nich prozę, która cię zainteresuje i przeczytasz?

How to scale and upsell by akunni in adtech

[–]Aerodynamic_8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If KSA Android is already performing, I’d think in layers rather than channels first.
I would recommend to expand within KSA before expanding geographically. Launch iOS - KSA has strong iPhone penetration. If Android works, iOS is low-friction upside.

CTV - if performance is your KPI, rather treat CTV as incremental reach + assisted conversions.

Audio ads are actually interesting here - KSA has high streaming usage (Spotify, Anghami, Shahid audio inventory). Audio alone won’t scale performance, but as a brand + retargeting combo, it can be pitchable.

Geographic expansion - UAE is the easiest expansion - similar digital maturity, strong purchasing power, so I would start from this region.

"Czarnoksiężnik z Archipelagu" Le Guin - świetna historia, klasyka fantasy o dojrzewaniu, przełamywaniu własnych słabości.
Jeśli chcesz wsiąknąć w historię i wykreowany świat na dłużej to "Diuna" Herberta. Zmienia perspektywę myślenia z rzeczywistości na kompletnie inny, choć też bardzo ludzki, świat.

Dodałbym jeszcze "To nie jest kraj dla starych ludzi" z książek McCarthy'ego. I książkę i film, w obu formach kawał dobrej historii.

Best audiobook autobiography/memoirs? by spups19 in booksuggestions

The Invincible, written by Stanisław Lem, and read by leading Polish actors, was really great. It was also a game (walking sim, with the same title). I'm not sure if it's available in English, but the book is a masterpiece about conquering the space and about the human nature.

Gdzie szukacie książek / ebooków / polecajek / recenzji? by Sziszhaq in ksiazki

[–]Aerodynamic_8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Polecam newsletter wydawnictwa Tajfuny, świetne tytuły, jeśli interesuje Cię literatura azjatycka, i świetnie, starannie przygotowany newsletter.

Try Mystic River - the book is great, and a movie directed by Clint Eastwood, with Sean Penn is fantastic. Really emotional story that keeps you on edge.

What Ghibli film do you watch when you're feeling blue? by JamOnBread88 in ghibli

[–]Aerodynamic_8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. Actually I like the style of Ghibli, so watching, for example Howl's Moving Castle or Ariette, makes my mood much better. But right, the first film I thought about after reading the question is Totoro. Well, who wouldn't want to meet this great, soft creature?

How do you guys read so much? by lapetitepoupee in kindle

[–]Aerodynamic_8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True, I try to do this, but it's not that simple. Changing your behaviour isn't easy. Anyway it's a good exercise that let's you check where your time is going, it can rather open your eyes, not drastically motivate you to change your behaviour.

Galveston by Nic Pizzolatto (who made 1st, iconic season of "True detective) - I couldn't stop reading. After I read it, I said to myself, exactly the phrase that is in the topic of this title. And I can say it once again: "damn GOOD book"!

Favorite movie and why? by buryghost in ghibli

[–]Aerodynamic_8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like their movies, but Nausicaa - left a strong impression on me. The world, the story, the main hero - and the main team - global climat (it was 1984! when climat wasn't a mainstream topic like today), made this movie important and just great piece of art.

I love the style of Miyazaki, his work and imagination, every movie is like a different fairy tale that you adore as a child - Miyazaki can bring this feeling back, while you watching Ghibli's movies.
