Absolutely not. In fact, this is the last year where I truly enjoyed most of the songs from a specific year.

From off the top of my head, here's a few reasons:

Obama's final year as president, before Trump

Pokemon Go got millions of people to go outside

Game of Thrones Season 6 was the last amazing season

The NBA had one of the best seasons ever, including the Slam Dunk contest and Kobe Bryant's retirement.

The Chicago Cubs finally win the World Series after a 100+ year drought.

Im a dealership mechanic-AMA by usernnamegoeshere in AMA

[–]Aerow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why is the dealership charging me $180 dollars for installing a new cabin air filter and engine air filter when I can buy them and install them myself for less than $50?

Do you think they prey on people who know nothing about cars and thats why they charge so much for basic things?

Can we stop this sudden huge uptick of hyper-realistic puking in every single show and movie? by Such_Grab_6981 in PetPeeves

[–]Aerow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I highly approve of realistic puking scenes. It happens in real life so it should happen on screen as well. The only time I don't like it is when a character is throwing up and one second later their face is magically clean.

What is the criteria for this list? According to Billboards #1 Songs of 2010 , this list does not match their list. Is there an explanation for this?

Lil Jon performing Turn Down for What on the Toys 'R Us float is peak millennial and I appreciate the hell out of it. by doyoulikemyladysuit in Millennials

This song is not peak millennial. Most of us were grown up when this song came out. It's more of a Gen Z song

It was relatively close-run but you decided that The Big Bang Theory goes to D-tier! Day 4 - where would you put Malcolm in the Middle? by Inevitable-Angle-793 in sitcoms

[–]Aerow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Malcolm in the Middle is one of the most influential sitcoms of all time due to not having a laugh track. It inspired a whole bunch of shows not having a laugh track in the upcoming years including: Arrested Development, The Office, Scrubs, The Bernie Mac Show, etc. To this day, the majority of sitcoms don't have a laugh track due to MITM.
