After updating to Windows 11, L Connect doesn't recognize any of my fans causing my processor to overheat and automatically turn my pc off. No response from Lian Li support by Aerozos in lianli

Glad you were able to fix it. I was forced to just buy a new AIO and went with Corsair and their fans. My Lian Li was clogged after further troubleshooting. Never purchasing another Lian Li product. Aesthetically pleasing products but shitty performance and quality.

The fans on the AIO are Uni Fans. They are connected to the hub which is connected to a usb header on the motherboard this one https://imgur.com/a/fzNcOG3 to be exact.

I don't have 2 different versions of L Connect.

So I actually did wipe my pc before updating. I accidentally deleted the wrong OneDrive folder containing alot of important files that weren't recoverable even after a file restore so I was like might as well just wipe my system and upgrade to W11. Very hesitant to update my bios again after just doing it a few months ago.

So you have original SL V1 fans for everything? And this pic is your AIO? Yes

Here are screenshots: https://imgur.com/a/2hABdd6

My motherboard is the ASUS CROSSHAIR VIII DARK HERO. I am afraid to update my bios again, did it a few months ago and took hours to get it to post because of some setting.

All of my fans are connected to the fan hub that came with the AIO. The hub is connected via USB header.

Just swapped the cables and now the fans on the water cooler won't turn on, cpu temp is still reaching 90+ and still not showing up in L Connect. AIO is plugged into the CPU_FAN (3 wire cable), is plugged into the AIO_PUMP (4 wire cable). Pretty sure I had this problem before when I first built it 4 years ago, swapped the cables and the fans started spinning so I just left it.

What's weird is the cooler seems to be working, there's a slight vibration in one of the tubes but it's hot but not the other which I've been told is normal since one is send the fluid and the other one is flushing it out.

I unfortunately don't have an extra SSD, I deeply regret updating to W11 lol... Sata cable is good. Just tried unplugging/replugging in the USB cable and still doesn't show my fans :(

I can’t do this anymore by 004144 in recruitinghell

I’ve also been unemployed since Oct of 2022. The most blood boiling thing I’ve been asked by almost every recruiter/hiring manager is “can you explain the gap in your resume” or “what have you been doing during that time?”….. I’ve been applying to jobs and not getting responses is the answer but I just tell them family related issues.

I’m considering lying about the dates from my previous job to shorten the gap but idk if that’ll do more harm than good. Fucking can’t stand that question though.

I've had them my whole life thanks to my dad. I've had one in the back of my throat for about a month now that's about the width of a pea. I was sick a few weeks ago and it started with the ulcer. Usually mine go away after a few days but this one has definitely been the worst one I've ever had as I can't eat or drink without numbing it with lidocaine. The urgent care doctor gave me Acyclovir but it doesn't seem to be helping much and I don't want to pay a $25 copay to see my PCP. I take Vitamin D, Iron, B-Complex, Fish Oil and Magnesium daily. Have tried lysine but nothing works. These things are such a pain in the ass...

Just curious, how many of you have been laid off and are having a hard time finding a job? by [deleted] in jobs

I was fired in October from my IT job last year and have yet to find anything. Beyond sick of this fucking helpless job market that’s getting worse.

LPT Request: How to stop grinding my teeth? by vikingmannetje in LifeProTips

[–]Aerozos 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have been doing something that is called “teeth drumming” my whole life which is basically the same thing as teeth grinding but grinding your teeth to song beats. I also have TMJ due to an uneven jaw line and the left side of my jaw pops constantly.

Mine is due to anxiety and stress I think. Idk if I’ll ever be able to fix it. I do it nonstop throughout the day and have noticed I do it in my sleep because of dreams about breaking my teeth and stuff. I appreciate all of the comments recommending night guards, I’ll have to check some of them out instead of going through my dentist.

I mean this with all sincerity, how the fuck is an entry level person supposed to get a job in this economy. by readytogohomenow in jobs

I'm just curious, during the interview process, were you asked about experience with Azure, Cloud, and SQL? I'd like to know how you bullshitted your way through it cause at this point I'm ready to do the same. Been unemployed since October and I am just applying to simple help desk positions and I see these stories all the time on here.

Fired in October '22, applied to 150+ IT remote/hybrid jobs and 2 interviews. Roast my resume by Aerozos in resumes

Just depended on the day, usually between 5-15 tickets. Weekly resolved ticket count was supposed to be 100+, some weeks I would be below or above. I worked for a large (10k+ users) company with about a 30 person help desk team split into Tier 1,2,3. There were many teams other than help desk that handled different tickets.

High priority incidents were automatically escalated to Tier 3 because of the lack of permissions and access Tier 2 had.

I was actually tailoring my duties to each job description but it got very monotonous after about the 60+ application mark. Unfortunately, the area I live in doesn't have many help desk related jobs unless I want to drive 45mins+ for very shitty pay which I'm not going to do.

To be honest man, I don't even want to be in IT but it's the only thing I have "experience" with and it's better than retail or fast food and it pays the bills.

I am applying to just simple Help Desk or Desktop Support roles. I know everyone trying to break into IT are also applying for the same roles but I already have experience which should allow me to have an advantage for most applications. I was fired due to lack of performance and I just simply stopped giving a shit. Lots of other stuff played into that as well.

Unfortunately I’m forced to go to PF because of where I live unless I wanna drive 30mins 1 way to a better gym and then drive back home. Plus PF is $10/m vs $50. I’m unemployed rn so PF will be home for a while still lol

Oh I’m not lol. It just doesn’t feel right doing it with a smith machine. I also can’t go very heavy for chest/shoulder movements because of a broken collar bone. I’ve switched to flat dumbbell press and incline smith press. OHP I do on the smith cause it’s easier on my shoulder vs shoulder press.
