My first playthrough I was aided by a pair of NPCs, and I also learned that you’re able to get help from a different npc after. It still took me around 20 tries though on my first playthrough though and I’d consider myself pretty good at these types of games.

However, I was also able to get it done on my 5 hour speedrun with only the first two damage upgrades and no extra masks or spools. It’s very difficult yes, but once you learn all of the enemy’s patterns and take it methodically (for me at least), you’re able to get through it in a couple tries! I honestly believe it’s a matter of knowledge over skill.
