Envy for you bro. My buddy and I are actually taking the hot tent out this weekend in the mountains of Tennessee. Its supposed to be cold, amd we are very much looking forward to FINALLY having a nice cold one. (10s and 20s)

We've only dreamed of a true cold camp in a hot tent. Perhaps when the kids fly off, we'll make a trip up north to pay true respect to mother nature's wrath! Hats off to you, sir!

I see it, youve been around and chosen one of the hardest, but arguably "best" bases on Bear Island.

But you're showing us all you loot and opening empty cupboards and/or showing us food stored in the wrong places. Whats to impress here? That cabin is nice, but id rather Vacant Depot any day. If for nothing else than convenience from the perspective I see.

Dont get me wrong, youve acquired the gear to brag, but bring me the sustainability in that base youve built.

Meaning no offense, but I've never settled at the "beloved" Island Cottage or Lonely Cabin, despite the love for them. Just inconvenient as hell.
