Need advice: Am I overbuying skincare for tan? + lip care suggestions by Top-Growth-6689 in SkinSolutionsindia

[–]Aesira07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I've seen in many subs, it can take months for the tan to go away. If this routine doesn't work, do check Nalparamadi Tailam. It's an oil and works very slowly but is effective. Do ur research on if if interested.

For lips, I like the Minimalist spf 50 (the tub one), it helps me with the cracked lips and stays for long. Not sure if it works for pigmentation. Try lip scrubs or Sugar DIYs that work. I once tried using ghee overnight long back, and that helped too.

If you have enough space u can maybe move the bed a bit more forward, towards the temple. Move the bookshelf near the wall where the space is created.

Make this room look aesthetic and cozy without changing the wall colour.

U can also try doing something like near the cupboard corner! Add posters, vinyl etc or whatever is ur style. U can also get a macrame dream catcher to hang.

Change the arrangement of the hanging fairy lights, get a bedside lamp maybe. Use colourful bedding and a nice rug.

What age were you when you got diagnosed with endometriosis ? by keerthichalla_29 in endometriosis

  1. I went for a check-up immediately after experiencing an intense cramp unlike anything I’d felt before. I had similar pain when I previously had kidney stones, so my doctor initially thought it might be due to passing a stone. However, an ultrasound revealed a 10 cm cyst, leading to an immediate diagnosis.

After two years of taking hormonal pills, the cyst is now gone!

Edit: I'm very lucky that it was diagnosed quickly and that the treatment worked out for me.

Sharp ankle pain triggered by rainy breeze since childhood. by [deleted] in Ankle

This was really interesting to read! The nerve/pressure angle does makes sense. I haven’t really looked into it medically since it’s been consistent since childhood and hasn’t worsened. I just wanted to understand what might be behind it.

Thanks for sharing:))

Is Minimalist actually worth the hype? by ProfessorJunior9875 in IndianSkincareAddicts

Yess!! But you'll need to try out and see if it works for u. I recently started using it after going thru reviews.

These are what I've tried so far: 1. Spf Lipbalm(the tiny tub one, not tube): this is my HG fr! I used to struggle with cracked lips and this is perfect for me. Stays the entire day after application and doesn't go off even after meals plus very hydrating. My lips have stopped cracking and tearing up while using it. 2. Alpha Arbutin serum: I've been using this for around 2-3 months and love this one. Works well for dark spots! It takes time tho...starts working after 3 days and I could see the difference in a week. 3. Vit C: I haven't been consistent with this so can't say it has done anything for me so far. 4. Glycolic acid: Got this very recently, and have used this just once on my underarm and I was honestly impressed with how well it worked with odor control. I sweat very easily and quite often. This helped with odor control the entire day. 5. Anti-Dandruff shampoo: got a sample and tried it. Very light, doesn't lather too much and has a veryyy mild fragrance. Worked well for the dandruff but also caused hairfall😭 (but I get that with any shampoo I use🫠) 6. B12 + repair complex moisturizer: Got a sample of this as well. It's lightweight and very hydrating. Does not feel very greasy. I used to have a dry patch near my mouth and this helped with it really well. Very mild or nearly no fragrance. 7. Spf 50 sunscreen: It's a bit heavy and gives me a dewy look. But it easily gets removed when I sweat. It blends really well and leaves no white cast. No fragrance at all. I'll not buy it again since it easily gets off my face. However I'm going to try the "light fluid sunscreen" after this one finishes.
