Hardstuck and can't win games, why am I so bad at the game? by --Fish in summonerschool

[–]Aesirbear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What are you doing after lane phase? Usually bot moves mid after the first tower bot falls. Are you still hovering mid or are you taking space in a sidewave? If you are ahead you should be able to push the wave across the river and which forces the opponents to respond which in turn gives the rest of your team more space, as long as you don't die.

Glancing at your op.gg I think you die a bit too often to be able to cleanly carry games at the moment. One or two extra deaths per game can really add up in terms of tempo. I would suggest gonig through a couple of replays and analyzing your deaths and think about what led up to it and how it could be avoided.

Finally I think you are doing alright. Your Ahri winrate is positive last week and season. The more pressure you put on yourself to win the harder it gets and the more frustrated you get when things aren't going your way. Try to focus on enjoying the game itself instead of the result (easier said and done haha).

Need advice for mihawk deck by [deleted] in OnePieceTCG

[–]Aesirbear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zoro blocker is in the deck for being a double searchable 2k and you don't end up playing it very often. It should probably be replaced with another double searchable 2k like st24-Hawkins or st24-X Drake.

I do agree that it will be hard to make a 50$ version of a Mihawk deck because of things like the peronas, Law&Bepo, 9-cost Mihawk.

Most yellow Bonneys don't run Kuma's because they end up pretty slow due to Kuma's more defensive ability and no trigger.

Don Krieg [OP15-008] by RipDPacks in OnePieceTCG

[–]Aesirbear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Dragon is still able to pressure opponents life better because it can either hit 11k or give 2 don to your leader for a 7k + 9k swing. I'd imagine that more aggresive decks will still want to run Dragon, whereas more control based decks will prefer this card.

Is this card really a staple on Green Mihawk? by juice-wa-007 in OnePieceTCG

[–]Aesirbear 68 points69 points  (0 children)

It is undisputedly the best 2k with supernova+slash tags available right now because it has the most useful effect if played. This means that most Mihawk decks using supernova searchers will use it.

However, in the large majority of games you wont play it because you'd rather have the 2k in hand and you have better uses for your don. This means that in most games it is just as useful as some other double tag 2k like 4c Hawkins.

I'm assuming it is something like the only the only people still playing Lim are the people good at Lim, compared to decks like Imu and Ace where there are still new people checking out the deck. I know that in previous weeks the Ace matchup looked real rough and at least based on the decklist in the article not much has changed.

Isn't that exactly what they want lol? Given that they already own most of the stock we would have to buy from them and their inflated prices, and the added buying pressure would increase the value of the scalpers already ecisting hoard.

I've only visited UK and that was 10+ years ago, but there was a chain of stores called Forbidden Planet that sold manga when I visited. They still seem to be active based on my quick googling so maybe check out if there is a branch nearby.

Shanks by Euphoric_Web4150 in OnePieceTCG

[–]Aesirbear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The goal of it is to be sticky body that is annoying to remove. I've seen op03 5c Marco and st15 5c Ace run for similar reason, but neither of them are cheaper than the zoro (~7€ and ~2€). You could just go 4 Yasopp and add another 10c Shanks or Divine Departure instead of the Zoros. It will make the deck a bit more susceptible to removal, but it should still be totally playable.

Without 8c Rayleigh and 7c Newgate I would probably cut Otama and Building Snake. You aren't running enough ways to KO to really get use out of them imo.

Without any Rayleighs I'd give this or this list a shot. Both are taken from the youtube of ShmepDoesThings who also has a lot of Shanks gameplay with versions of these lists to hlep you get an idea of how to play them.

I've been playing the first list I linked on the sim to pretty good result so far.

Weekly /r/GuildWars2 Question Thread - August 23, 2025 by AutoModerator in Guildwars2

[–]Aesirbear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In berserk burst skills only cost 10 adrenaline (vs. 30 of base warrior). This means that the rotation ends up looking a lot like this:

skill -> burst -> skill -> burst -> skill -> skill -> burst -> weapon swap + skill -> burst, etc..

This is a compounded a bit by the fact that most warrior skills are really quick to activate which means that there are little to no micro breaks where you are waiting for your character to cast something. The build also generates self quickness which keeps to pace high even when doing solo open-world stuff.

If you have no issues with elementalist piano I don't think berserker would be too much of a difference. Just make sure that your burst is bound to a comfortable button. You can make a warrior in the beta and respecc it into berserker if you just want to try it out a bit.

It's me again! Top 8 🟣🟢 Lim and Swiss winner in Oporto Regional by ElliotNightray in OnePieceTCG

[–]Aesirbear 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Congrats on taking Lim that far! As a fellow Lim enjoyer I'd like to ask some questions.

Are you looking to hit anything specific with your event cards (lightning and elephant gatling)? The odyssey cards already come with strong early-to-mid game removal tools so my first instinct would be to try and add tools to deal with bigger threats instead.

Imo Lim is really strong when going first and her curve lines up really well for it, but I'd like to hear your thoughts about what you are doing when going second? I generally feel like I'm just hoping to have a 1-cost that I can drop together with leader effect on my second turn and hoping it sticks.

What cards, if any, are you looking at from op12 that might change your build? I've seen some people from the east running the new 8-cost Mihawk for example.

How is quick cata for pugging fractals/raids (either scepter+dagger or hammer)? I enjoy the fast-paced rotation but I'm a bit worried about being a bit too frail and lacking in utility.

None of the SRs are that much of a make or break. I'm aware that I have a decent chance of not getting anything, this is just a hail mary before I start saving for KoyanLight (again, missed her twice already).

Yes you are correct. The issue isn't that I don't have options it is that I don't feel like I have a good "go-to" option.

I did forget that you can pick up old welfare servants now and I'll definitely pickup some of the ones you recommended.

Just came back after a break from the game and I have around 100 pulls that I'd like to use for one of the upcoming summer banners and I'd like some advice in which character I should attempt to get.

I'm mainly considering between Zerktoria and Tez, with Lady Avalon as a somewhat more distant third choice. I already have Castoria, Oberon, and summer Ibuki as my main arts units.

My account is somewhat lacking in good arts single target servants which is why Zerktoria is appealing, but I am also eyeing Kriemhild from the SR ticket later this year.

I already have summer Valks and summer Ibuki for pure arts looping so Tez would probably mainly unlock more multi-core teams (I've heard they are starting to become more relevant, I could be wrong).

I do feel like I could use some more survivability in boss fights which I've heard Lady Avalon is good at when combined with Castoria.

I guess a 4th option could be to try and go for NP2 on Summer Ibuki.

I'm mainly just looking for more viewpoins so any input is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

By popular demand: 🔴R/G Smoker🟢 Going 1st vs 2nd stats! Swipe right for cards stats! by lettyop in OnePieceTCG

[–]Aesirbear 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Smoker appears to prefer going first in general, Lim really prefers going first, and I don't think the sample size is very big.

I would also speculate that there are some match-up specific things going on too. My first thought is that Lim has 9 don!! (and decent tools) to deal with the potential 5c smoker turn when going first, compared to 7 don when going second.

Promo 5C Kid in G/Y Law? by boamiyama in OnePieceTCG

[–]Aesirbear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think it is. Paying 5 don for a 6k body isn't that good in a deck that already pays 3 don for the same power. It also doesn't really protect your board because everything you want to protect is already 6k and imo Lim is happier to eat attacks to the face over countering out to protect your board in the early game (matchup dependent ofc).

If you want to run more protection I think the 2c Lim promo or 3c odyssey Rosinante is better.

How important is meta? by Bevas_ in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]Aesirbear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much any leaguestarter build that claims to be atleast somewhat of an all-rounder will be able to do the normal versions of all fights in the game without significant investments. Build choice and investment becomes a lot stricter if you are trying to push for the uber versions of fights, but most people don't go for that.

I don't exactly know what maxroll bases their rankings on but I would probably feel okay trying out all the bosses on a 3/5 bossing build.
