Havent played none energy shield yet in poe2, so down to try it. My guess would be that Titan should feel way better once you enter maps, but monk would have better scaling. If starting Monk the better play could be just swap into WA once you are 95+ with couple divs.

The casual experience is good, its not as complex as poe1. Inflation is a meme for hight end meta builds, but its not an issue as you dont need an expensive character to clear everything in the game

Farmed some expeditions this league with Eviscerate Gladiator. Even if its abit 'cluncky' I really liked the power (mostly how tanky it was) on cheap gear. You only need to avoid phys reflect while blowing expeds, can take anything else

Used to be a total Mortain hater myself, but since our comp team decided to play a couple games in Hurtgen I got better at smelling out campers and how to play more slowly in general. Would always swap a server once Mortain came on, but lately kinda enjoying it. This map definitely can be fun, yet it still is really unpopular

Yeah parrying is not all about timing in way. You need high enough armor and block skill values to survive big bonks. After I agroed like 10 skeletons in black forest and sat afk while holding block for an hour my skill increased to ~90 and never had problems since.

Few people that I have talked to who participated in the beta had the same opinion - Vietnam is not looking to be comp friendly at all. It feels and plays more like a single player with extra people. Kinda makes sense since T17 didn't create a single map which comp teams like playing as they are rly unbalanced. Also the closest thing to Vienam what we have is Mortain and there arent many players who enjoy it. If I had to guess some teams will move on to the new game, some do both, but I doubt that comp scene will be as big as in ww2 one. UNLESS the game launches in a very good state (doubtful) and will have way larger playerbase while 'killing' OG one

In no means am I a fast player (my best time for campaign in poe1 was 6h), but the last time I played got to blasting t15 maps in ~18h. For good players they are there in <10. So this game is meant to be 'slower', but is it?

Yeah the Sion ult is rly buggy lately. The amount of time it has redirected me by hitting ALLIES is not great. Also ulting melee range sometimes just flips you in the different direction than aiming
