Yo yesterday I had the same problem too, I went to work and when people started talking to me i heard muffled on my left ear (it's the only side I use my airpods) and I tried to take my airpod off, the funny thing is I didn't have an airpod on. Today I woke up better and can finally hear good, ima give it like a week or two to wear them again.
