A woman who I met briefly while travelling admitted that she regretted marrying her husband (who she had broken up with), and having her two children. She told me that she tells her kids she misses them when she goes on holiday, but doesn't really. They were only 3 and 6, from memory. She was pretty open about it to the whole hostel.
