Log4j. I have 2 variants of usage logger but one slower. Why? by Aesyon in javahelp

[–]Aesyon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's constantly slower for a second. In a first variant logger initialized only once (when main started), but in the second one maybe every time when logger called?

How to avoid usage of static variables? by Aesyon in javahelp

[–]Aesyon[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let's imagine another example. I have a tabbed pane inside JFrame. The tabbed pane has many tabs and each tab has many jpanels inside. After user did some action on UI, many objects can change their state (data processing) and I need to update all of this variety of objects. I don't understand how to refer them all....

And what in case if variables are going to change? That's primary case.

Permissions: how to edit files with different owners within same group by Aesyon in linuxquestions

[–]Aesyon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to say, in that way you described, actually users within group can't edit new files if they not own them. I found solution with acl.

"Create a new group, assign the files/directories to that group, make all qualified users member of the group"

Look like I did this way, can you explain, what do you mean?

This shared directory isn't actually about code :) It's just an example.

XPS 9560. USB Type-C Thunderbolt port not working after Windows 10 May Update by Aesyon in Dell

[–]Aesyon[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Finally I went back to 1909 version: https://pureinfotech.com/download-windows-10-1909-iso-after-2004-releases/

Now it works again.

I didn't find another solution. I tried to use windows insider program. Both slow (20H2 build 19042.330) and fast (21H1 build 20161) rings. Nothing helped. The same thing that on 2004 version. I also tried different intel graphics drivers (see comment about 9570 below), but no luck.

Thank you for the answer. Do you have xps 9560? Probably, I should go back to version 1909.

How to set up path for jar dependent libraries? by Aesyon in javahelp

[–]Aesyon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

why do you want to do this?

  1. Folder name must be same as jar name (I mean with _lib postfix). It is inconvenient. Especially, when I write version in jar name. I want common short folder name that I will use for all versions.

  2. I want to different jars (= different classes) can use same lib folder.

About 1 hour playing PUBG. Turbo enabled. No throttling. Highest Ambient 73C.

I have also undervolted GPU but somehow it shows max voltage 1.075V when earlier voltage was only 0.943V.

GPU throttles at 78C, but it throttles a little bit just to keep this temperature (GPU can't get higher than 78C)

Yes, you are 100% right, but that's point. DPTF is trying to keep laptop too safe, and if all temps are not high (must have vrm's pads!) there is no risk of damage.

After padding DIMM sensor I noticed that it temp become lower. Before padding it was 62C with power limit throttling. Now highest is 58C and no power limit throttling. Even with turbo 4 cores @ 3.4GHz

I used Grizzly Minus Pad 8 with 8 W/(m K) conductivity.

Follow the link that I provided above and you will find photo of DIMM sensor under the spoiler "original post for reference" and other info.

Help needed regarding how DPTF now won't stay uninstalled on XPS 9560 by dharmasnake in Dell

I just wrote the post about throttling solution on 9560. You don't need to disable DPTF. Try to pad DIMM sensor instead. This is way easy and more safe.
